Excellent service and incredible food. There is literally no other place we will go for sushi. If we are out of town and we get sushi we always compare it to Ota-Ya. So far across the East coast and South we have yet to find a place better. We will continue to order and dine in at this restaurant. D

Food was great, but the understaffing is evident (understandable in these economic times). Fresh sushi and good tempura batter were highlights of what we ordered.

I have been going to Ota-Ya since the early 1990s and still go even now that I’m a Vegan. 💛💛💛💛💛 try the asparagus roll and the avocado roll and the oshinko roll!

Their sushi have sooo much rice and some pieces you can’t barely see the fish. Also not super tasty.

Ota-Ya is the best sushi spot in Lambertville-New Hope, hands down.

The one star review is because our waitress came back with our check and forced / begged us for a higher tip. They also only have bottled water which they charge for so you might as well bring your own. The food was good but at the cost of being asked to tip more.
