My husband and I recently stayed at the hotel for Two days. We stayed in the carriage house king. It was ok. Smaller than we expected. The two chairs at the end of the bed had torn fabric. The TV seemed a bit small and the bathroom was a little cramped. There was only one tiny space to get into the tub. It was difficult especially getting out when everything was wet. Could have been a bad situation. On the good side the bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean. We also had a bit of trouble with the fireplace since the directions were practically on the floor under the fireplace
Now the reason for the bad score. The food.
We went there for dinner on a Tuesday night. OMG!!! Horrible. First we ordered a Caesar salad. The lettuce seemed fresh and crisp. The dressing which they say is homemade was not to our liking. Well after the entrees came, I changed my mind about the salad because it was the best thing on the table. We ordered the Short ribs. Came with garlic mashed potatoes and some veggies. First of all it was cold. Tried to eat it
. Inedible. I think it must have been leftover from the night before. Anyway by time we saw the waiter again ( he said he had to take care of 6 table's by himself) his solution was to take it in the back and heat it up. Then the other couple that was sitting a few tables away said our food is cold too.
To sum up. The room was okay, but don't eat there.

We got the suite across from main house and was not impressed at all. Room was almost 500 dollars and it was very dusty and we woke up to ants everywhere on the bathroom floor. When we told front desk at check out they didn’t even say oh sorry or anything bc they were too concerned with getting our money for the cheese board we ordered. Never will stay here again way overpriced

We wanted to like this place. My friend and I are visiting from out of town and booked the Luxury King. We got the room in the carriage house across the street which was different than advertised on the website. The first issue was the fireplace not turning on. The room was also cold when we walked in. We walked across the street back to the hotel and a guy at the front desk walked over with us to turn the fire on which took a few minutes. It would’ve been great if it was working more easily but ok. Next, the keurig pot in our room was not working. We wanted hot water for tea, so we walked over to the hotel a second time, and asked for a cup or pot of hot water. Apparently the staff had trouble locating one, and directed us upstairs to another, shared keurig pot. The thing is we didn’t want coffee, just hot water for tea we had brought with us. So the keurig didn’t work without the keurig cup to put in, which we didn’t have.
We walked downstairs and the woman at the front desk opened a keurig manual and began looking through it. At that point, I decided we could find better accommodations elsewhere. I also want to include the absolute terrible, unprofessional, and snide customer service that we received at every encounter which is the main reason I'm giving one star. When I said that we would like a refund, the woman at the front desk who couldn’t have been worse in terms of professionalism or courtesy, said “I figured that.” This is how you treat customers who were willing to spend $275 for a room? Worst hotel I’ve ever stepped foot in. This place isn’t worth it folks. There are more beautiful places to stay.

This review is for lunch only.
First time in Lambertville and New Hope in years and first time for my wife.
We strolled into this establishment and we were impressed with the decor.
Sat by the window
Was nice
The nice waitress came over and took our order, i then asked for change for parking. I was looked at as if i had 2 heads. She said maybe i can ask the front desk. Odd, its a restaurant and bar, they dont have a cash register?
She mentioned there is an app but im not interested in that.
So we get our expensive lunch
Food was good not great
We get the bill. I throw in two 20s
At least I'll get 55c in change. Nope.
They gave me back more than they owed me just so they dont have to carry change. I still find this ridiculous
Call me old-fashioned i dont care.
So we had to rush around town as our meter only had 30 mins left.
It didnt help that we waited 15 mins from the time we were given the bill and the time she picked it up.
With so many other options in the area I definitely would not recommend this place unless ur staying there or u wanna have a drink in the lounge which is super cozy

Our room was so nice and very clean and quite. We really enjoyed it. The bed was so comfy and fire place was perfect for our snowy morning. What didn't like was that my gf had called ahead and planned a suprise. Immediately at check in the lady blurts out "is everything in the room supposed to be a suprise?" So obv. She ruined the suprise. Apparently it wasn't ready, she could have just said which of you is nicole can I talk to you in private. But she didn't and my gf was bummed. The drinks at the bar were pricey but delicious. I would go back again. The staff was very nice.

This hotel is amazing! The staff is so kind & helpful! They even helped me plan a surprise for my fiance to be delivered to our room while we were out to dinner. They went above and beyond to make our stay memorable and were extremely personable! The queen courtyard room is beautiful with a heavenly bed & luxurious whirlpool tub! Plus, the surrounding area is relaxing and filled with places to visit! I would definitely recommend staying here is you get the chance!

My husband and I were strolling by and heard music coming from the Lambertville House so we decided to stop in for a drink. We were seated in a beautiful cozy room with a fireplace and holiday decor. Our waiter was attentive and accommodating. In addition to ordering tasty martinis we had the pleasure of listening to a wonderful folk singer. Another treasure in this great River town!

So, there were multiple issues with our stay here. I was really excited to stay here. My friend sweetly sprang for the luxury suite and surprised me. When we arrived we were given the carriage house. When we asked about moving to the suite we reserved the woman at the front desk behaved as if she was affronted, then said we could choose not to stay and she would refund our money. There was eye rolling and long, pointed pauses. All unecessary and all unprofessional.
I tried to bear this with a smile and assume the best for my friends sake. We decided to take the room but we're back at the front desk shortly after because we couldn't get the fire to light. The same woman seemed irritated and said the directions were on the apparatus. I said I know, but they didn't work. She then proceeded to grill me about how I did it when the guy standing next to her kindly interrupted and said he could help us. Which he did.
We were back at the front desk again shortly after because we wanted tea and the keurig wasn't working. I asked the woman if it would be possible to get a pot of hot water for tea. She looked surprised then said you. Have. A. Keurig. In. Your. Room. No joke. I finally got a little snippy and said I know that but it's not working. She said something like did you turn it on. Then she got the keurig manual out at which point my friend interrupted my upcoming fit and said we would just like our money back. She actually murmured that she figured we were going to say that. But the truth is, had she just been polite and showed the least amount of professionalism I'd have been happy to stay.
