This is such a cozy little hidden gem! I have 3 young children, and it was the perfect environment for them as well! They were able to play, eat, and watch a movie! The whole staff was so kind and nothing short of amazing! We will be back! You've created a lovely cafe!

Unique atmosphere, engaging management, and their Silver Sea is one of the best lattes in Lancaster. In a city famous for top-tier coffee, that’s a high achievement!

Today I had lunch at this cute/querky restaurant in Place Marie. The food was delicious, the prices are very reasonable, the staff is friendly and the surroundings are delightful. I highly recommend this spot for readers, folks who love music and those who enjoy spending time in a refreshingly different environment!

I have no clue why I haven't done this yet. I started coming here to grab coffee and then run. Then I just slowly started to stay. Now it's part of my weekly life. This place is something truly unique. The food, the drinks, the workers, the environment, the local bands at play; they all feel cohesively warm, comfortable and inviting. showing so much love and hard work. The perfect place to relax after work or class. catching up on reading ( which they sell books looking for a loving home), homework or just to play a board game with the fam. Need a boost? The baristas will help you find the perfect drink, snack, and food combo for your tastes. And there's always radically awesome people to meet and talk to. I highly recommend checking this place. ( added bonus, it's Narnia and Lord of the Rings themed)

This place was amazing! Wonderful, kind people who are very interactive are working there! The atmosphere was extremely cozy and welcoming! I definitely would love to come back! Anyone who is in the Lancaster area that loves books should definitely come there! Oh, and their Blueberry Birch beer is fantastic! I took a couple of bottles to bring home with me!

It's inexpensive, the coffee is amazing, the wait staff are friendly and attentive, the music is good and the books are fantastic. There are interesting things to look at everywhere. All in all a great place to just relax with friends and have a good time.

Visited here last night for the first time..... really loved it! It's a wonderful place, very special. There's an amazing feel in this place... takes me back to some wonderful coffee houses many decades ago. But, I think this one is even better.

Went there for the first time tonight for First Friday as a vendor. The place was so warm and cozy! People were amazing! Dave demonstrated his Russian language skills, which we loved. Hope to back there soon.

Very friendly service. Warm and welcoming atmosphere with very good breakfast. My wife had the egg and cheese sandwich and she loved it. Fried sticky buns and ice cream was delicious. Unique coffees rounded out a very enjoyable first visit. Will definitely return.

Nice, creative, and calming atmosphere. It feels like an escape to Narnia and Middle earth. There's a used bookstore and lots of games. The employees are very welcoming. It seems they really want to create a place of community. Fun place. They have lots of events: concerts, open mic, game nights. It's really a great place to go on a Saturday night for coffee and board games. The owner has a kid's music band which is really fun for families.

Walking in these doors is incredibly relaxing. The overall ambience is so warm and nice. Their drinks are cleverly named, and every one that I've tried has been delicious. I've only ever gotten a breakfast sandwich from them once, but the eggs were fluffy, the bread was toasted perfectly, the ham was just crisped on the edges, and the farmers cheese was just perfect. They have board games and paint and puzzles, and just a ton of stuff to do while you catch up with friends. All of the furniture is comfortable. I hope they find a new location soon, because this is very close to becoming a regular location for me.

Great coffee shop! Love all the books and the feel of the atmosphere. A very warm and inviting space that is not pretentious. The guy who owns this place is super nice and down to earth. If you haven't been here you need to give it a try.

This hidden cafe is a great place, plenty of space and the quirky atmosphere only adds to the experience. Gather with friends or enjoy the solitude with music or a book, plenty of classics and old literature available there in the shelves to entertain the mind. Friendly staff and good service. Food and drinks taste great. I will be choosing this place everytime over the more crowded cafes around.

Great place to hang out or just visit. Be sure to try the Ent-sized (large), Yodeling Orc iced latte (chocolate and hazelnut). We'll definitely be back soon!

If one of the main streets' cafes are too loud for you, or too busy, this quiet little library of a cafe is a comfort. They have wonderful events, chess tables set up all the time, several book cases with vintage books (I found one there once that was nearly 100 years old!) and gently used copies of newer ones that you can read or purchase. Local art sometimes is hanging up for sale too. Everyone there is super-friendly. Oh, and the cute and cozy place is themed after Tolkien and C. S. Lewis. Great drinks, but I wish they'd expand their food menu.

This place is absolutely awesome. It's easy to miss, but has good coffee and a cool atmosphere. Owner and staff are very friendly. Some nights they have live music. They also have a bunch of chess sets and other board games for anyone to use.
