I find reasons to head over to Lancaster just so I can stop at the Polish Princess. Everything is outstanding but the cinnamon rolls and molasses ginger cookies are my Achilles heel! I love the atmosphere and the comradery between the staff. Magda and her staff know most of the patrons and it reminds me of "Cheers" where everybody knows your name. The Polish Princess is a must if you're in the Lancaster area.
The most amazing smoked salmon, lettuce, tomato, cucumber, capers and cream cheese on a freshly made everything bagel. Honestly the best I have had since I lived in Manhattan
Stopped in for the first time today for soup and sandwich. Absolutely out of this world food. Not to mention the super friendly, very prompt staff and owner. The bread for my sandwich and with the soup was SO delicious and bakery fresh. If you are in the area, you MUST make this place one of your stops.
Simply and absolutely the best. I have never experienced anything less than complete and total excellence of food and beverage, when visiting the PPB.
I loved the spinach pie and my husband liked the egg sandwich very much. We even bought a cinnamon roll and babka to go because we just wanted more of such a good thing💝💝💝👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Fantastic service, BEST homemade bread (baguettes and roasted garlic are out of this world!) and their babka.. is. to. die. for!! Highly Recommend/5 Stars
Fresh hot French Bread out of the oven and in to my tummy this morning at The Polish Princess Bakery!!!!
My wife and I love this little gem of bakery in downtown Lancaster. The food is amazing.
A pitch perfect Cinnamon Morning Bun (the best thing I've eaten all year, period). Then I demolished an Almond Croissant and an Apple Custard pastry too because it looked so lonely. The perfect latte was the icing on the cake. Wowzers.
The rolls we had with Amanda Kings pulled pork was an excellent match for a great sandwich!!!
Warm, friendly, great food, and I loved this list of Polish phrases by the register, with pronunciation guide. The various breads are fabulous!
Absolutely delicious every time we go. We make trips to Lancaster just for the bakery. Staff is very friendly.
Wonderful hometown bakery, great coffee, beautiful and tasty 😋 pastries. Will defiantly be a destination stop on our next trip to Vermont!
OMG They're chocolate Almond croissant's are to die for! I wish I lived closer as I'd be there every morning to beat anyone else who wanted them! they sell out so fast! Had their cookies also, they look like a horseshoe but they taste devine, almond tasting.. Can't wait to make my order soon it will be this week. I dare you all to visit this place and I promise you you'll go back!

The PPB is my family's favorite place in town! Everything is delicious and fresh and unlike anything else, in our neck of the woods! You've got to try the Lancaster sourdough!
Absolutely love everything!! Ice mocha is my favorite
I started going to The Polish Princess Bakery when it wasn't even a bakery! I fell in love with the Lancaster Common bread, baguettes, French bread...oh yeah ALL of it. I'm actually kind of glad that I don't live closer, they say bread is all you need and I could live on this happily!
Amazing breads and pastries. Forget the bread you buy in the store, and enjoy bread how it's supposed to be made.
A touch of Europe in the North Country, only friendlier.
Nice place to stop. Have a cup of tea and a scone. Yum

I have a new fav sandwich...the Caprese...hope its on the board alot this summer!
Lancaster is very lucky to have this bakery in their little town. We had heard about this bakery and decided to check it out. We were not disappointed. The prices were very reasonable. The food was so so good. We had the breakfast sandwich that you could easily hold in one hand to eat. The bread was so soft and fresh. Also got the polish drozdzowka and the apple galette. Oh my, so good! When they say fresh from scratch, they are not kidding. If you are anywhere near this place in the north country, you must stop in!
I’ve been wanting to visit this bakery for a while and finally made it there. The hype is all real, I had the most legit lox bagel since russ & daughters in NYC and it’s right in the heart of the North Country of NH. Picked up a flax seed loaf (pictured below) sliced the heel and had a sample with some butter and it’s no joke, best bread ever. The vibe in the bakery is great, nice places to sit. The coffee is rich and strong, the folks are super nice and welcoming. Couldn’t ask for anything better!
A very cute bakery and reasonable prices on items for the most part. Highly recommend their bagels and sourdough bread. Honestly everything looked yummy.
Very cute and quaint! My mint cucumber lemonade was delicious! I love their selection of puzzles and coloring books. A few more games and some ‘for here’ cups would be a perfect addition to their sitting room setup!
Delicious! We got the honey cinnamon & pumpkin pie lattes, both made very well. The slab pie & cinnamon roll were SO good. Very friendly staff & a lovely environment to sit on a rainy Sunday. Thank you!
We stopped by this place visiting from Boston. We had two small toddlers and this place was very kid friendly. The pastry’s were wonderful. Very fresh and tasty. The coffee was somewhat cold when served but overall it was a wonderful place to stop by if you have a sweet tooth on a Saturday morning.
OH MY GOODNESS, IF YOU HAVEN'T BEEN HERE TO THIS FABULOUS BAKERY THEN BE SURE TO PUT IT ON YOUR SHENANIGAN LIST!
They nail every pastry they make. Love the coffee. The BLT is awesome. The bagels are incredible. The take home pieorgis were incredible. Love this place. A true diamond of the North Country.
We drove quite a distance to go here, and it was well worth it. It would be an understatement to say that we sampled a few items, we went big.
Breads: Honey wheat, multigrain and oatmeal honey. All delicious.
Treats: Chocolate chunk cookie, chocolate croissant, kolache, macaroon. All delicious.
Actual 'food'?: Cheese pizza, egg sandwich with bacon, cheddar, lettuce, tomato, and dijonnaise. All delicious.
Polish Princess Bakery gets their ingredients from local farms and shops, we love this. The staff is super friendly and their espresso drinks are fantastic.
Jenn can't stop going on about the Macaroons (coconut and I dont get along) as being literally the best she has ever had. I'm going back for another Kolache, and maybe a few other tidbits. :) Rob and Jenn.
Wonderful bakery on a quaint NH Main Street in Lancaster. An assortment of pastries and breakfast foods along with coffee and breads. Coming from Brooklyn, I was surprised by the quality of the everything bagel - fresh and made well. This shouldn’t have surprised me as the place hummed with the energy of people passionate about baking. Trays of freshly baked wonders straight out of the oven and the sound of dough being pounded coming from the open kitchen —all signs of a stop well worth your time!
