Loved this place! Delicious local food! Had a high chair and kid's menu and crayons! We ate the big pig and the Cuban special and loved both. Kids split a 1/4 pound of pork and a side of Mac and cheese. Coleslaw was delicious. Much better than eating at a chain!
Maybe I am starving but this was the greatest meal ever, shout out to bbq, shout out to Mac and cheese, shout out to the big guy upstairs cause this wasn't some mere mortal cooking
We hired Matt for Pig roast and catering of rehearsal dinner for my son and daughter-in-law which hosted about 100 people. Matt pulled up with the pig smoking in the cute "pig smoker" which provided a nice show and display for guests.
The food was amazing!! The traditional-style pork was so juicy and delicious with the right amount of smoke. Sides of green beans, Mac and cheese, baked beans and slaw. Non-traditional tacos were included as an option since they are a favorite. We had several sauces to compliment the meat and bring all the flavors together. Carolina and Cry Baby are my favorite.
Our guests loved the food and raved about the quality and taste. Hands down a winner!!
Being from out of town I was not familiar with Bradford's but once the food was sampled we knew we wanted to hire them for our event. I am so glad we did. Very professional and friendly. Highly recommended!!
We really enjoyed our lunch here, and are excited to return to try some of the more unique menu items! For our first visit, we stuck to the basics, which did not disappoint. The space inside is somewhat crowded, but the smoker outside lets you smell the BBQ before you even walk through the doors.
We both ordered the pork lunch plate - the pork was very solid, but slightly dry; accompanied by three quality sauces: sweet; smoky; and tangy. The sides were very tasty, especially the country green beans (cooked with white onions and leftover brisket) and the potato salad; the mac and cheese has potential, but was likewise dry.
A suggestion - please serve cornbread instead of that roll, which seems store bought and does not compare to the rest of the cuisine.
This place is GREAT! Jen and Matt, the owners, are gracious, helpful and cook some mean BBQ! Their brisket is so good they run out early sometimes but you kinda can call and reserve some. This ain't no BBQ joint. This is real deal BBQ. Give 'em your business. You won't be sorry!
This is absolutely the best BBQ restaurant in Lexington! The "taco trio" is a sample of all three of their main pork and chicken sandwiches on a soft tortilla. This option was delicious and really me a great idea of all of the food that they have! Also, their potato salad and green beans as sides were incredible. Overall, I would suggest stopping in to try their BBQ to anyone! They are open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and are very family friendly!!!
Absolutely love Bradford BBQ!! Best in Lexington and the owners are so sweet! If you love local food, a great atmosphere, and delicious BBQ than Bradford BBQ is for you!
I have been waiting for Bradford Barbeque to open a place for years. Their food is amazing and I'm so excited to be able to go in for lunch and dinner. The meat is so tender and the sides are incredible, the potato salad is my absolute favorite!
It's about time Lexington had a great BBQ place on the south side of town that isn't over-priced or corporate!!! The convenient location is a huge bonus.

When it comes to barbecue, I'm picky. New York doesn't have such good pork barbecue so I never thought to seek it here. So foodies and BBQ fanatics rejoice that Bradford BBQ exists! Love Matt's Apricot Chili sauce on his beef brisket. Kinda just want to drown in said sauce, it's that good. Ambiance is family back porch casual but it's fun to see the suits and ties not get anything on their suits and ties. Jennifer's smile always lights up a room, especially when she serves up her homemade bacon bark over soft serve chocolate-vanilla swirl. His food truck turned brick and mortar blessed me with great homemade BBQ and great time.
Bradford BBQ always treats me so well whenever I stop in! This place is owned by the sweetest people who always make sure your taken care of while dinning in! Their BBQ tacos are absolutely to die for and is always a top pick when I go there. I have never had anything like their home made sauces and am never disappointed with anything I try on the menu, not to mention their awesome prices!!
Easily the best BBQ in town. I would recommend everyone to try it for themselves. Their Kalua pork with the Pineapple BBQ Sauce is so unique and delicious. They also have Crank & Boom Ice Cream, which if you've had it then you'll know why I'm even bringing it up.
Great BBQ, awesome choice of sauces, and an overall great place. They have something for everyone with an awesome menu. Always coming up with new tasty treats.
Best BBQ ever. I'm usually not a fan of BBQ but tried it at a meeting they catered for my office. AWESOME is all I can say. Will be taking my family to the restaurant for lunch very soon.
Matt smoked a 22 lb. turkey for our family on Thanksgiving. I have eaten smoked turkey many times over the years, and this bird was quite simply the best smoked turkey I have ever tasted!! The aroma was intoxicating. The mouth watering meat fell right off the bone, and was very tender and juicy. The meat was smoked to perfection, as we could taste the smoky flavor throughout. Matt's "smoker" skills are unparalleled. Bradford is Lexington's best kept BBQ secret!! I highly recommend Bradford BBQ for your next event!
The pork has always been tender, no chewy fat in it. The pork and chicken tacos are my favorite! I am a huge fan of their food!

My fiancé went here, thinking it was a resturant, we were planning on trying out their food to see if we would like them to cater our wedding, it turned out to not be a resturant! They have a food truck and they cater, now this amazing couple was very professional and down to earth. They even gave us 2 free meals! We tried to pay them but they said it was their pleasure! Nice people with great food!!!! We will be using then for our wedding!

I came here for the first time this week and the owner Jennifer greeted me like part of her family. The food was phenomenal and so was the service. I was not disappointed, though I had high expectations based on the reviews. I got the Big Pig topped with Sweet Slaw and a side of their Five Cheese Mac-n-Cheese. It was delicious and the portions were generous. I will definitely be back!
It’s a shame that on a previous review stated that it’s never open… well I’m always there!! So they are OPEN! I guess owners aren’t allowed a vacation?! Well, I believe all are entitled of a vacation so the staff can come back refreshed, cook and serve awesome food!!!Bradford is such a family atmosphere! Food is great, service… well they treat you like family ❤️

This place is amazing: from the fun, super cool atmosphere to the incredible views, to every single person who works here! Jennifer and Matt make you feel welcome from the moment you walk through the doors and make you want to visit again and again. Moreover, the food is outstanding!! The bbq is mouthwatering but, our family’s favorite is the pizza… it is simply the best, bar none.
Don’t give up, there’s a cozy restaurant and bar behind the carport and bathrooms! You’ll know from the smell when you exit your vehicle that you’re in the right place and if it takes you a few minutes to find where the food is, it’s worth it! Brisket was tender juicy smoky delicious. I can’t wait to go back when I have time to stay and try more of the menu.
Been to Bradford’s several times. Two of my travel buddies said this place was a must so they took me there. We’ll drive for hours to eat at a great place and Bradford’s didn’t disappoint. Only an hour or so away and is occasionally on our way to or from a destination. Unfortunately, it’s never where we would be overnight so that we could enjoy several cold beverages from the Taps. Highly recommend making plans to try Bradford BBQ!
This is hands-down the best BBQ around. I would highly recommend the Brisket or the Taco Trio, but you can't go wrong with anything you choose! I would definitely recommend this restaurant!
First time to visit restaurant. First let me explain, I'm a OTR Trucker. I have traved to 48 States & Mexico. I enjoy stopping in different city's & trying out the BBQ. Not only does Bradfords rank at the top, but the staff is family to everyone. I was blown away how nice & down home everyone was,. I'm form Mobile Alabama & promise you will enjoy the service & Food.
I visited the location where Bradford is, but I actually went to tea at The Owsley House. The Bradford BBQ did the tea and it was delicious!! They served 3 different teas , along with scones, desserts and tea sandwiches. The citrus salad was delicious, loved radish and cucumber sandwiches . If you like a different experience try tea at the Owsley House by Bradford BBQ!!
