wait, burger, fries, and draft for $6.50? kidding? Oh, only Bud, or Miller. Ok.
Condiments were free, and it was 50 cents to add lettuce, tomato, mayo (all 3)
So, was it a restaurant quality, Kobe beef, quarter pounder with premium cheese? Of course not. It's cheap burger. But it tasted good. I would surely go back next time I'm in town.
Fries were so so and Bud/Miller are definitely not my thing. I'd skip the $6.50 meal and just go for a burger.
And add an app - wings were delicious and the mushroom fries were 8/10.
Oh, and our server was super!
No rays of sunshine, but super efficient, and quick. We didn't have to say it and she got it.
Definitely re-visit! And sit outside next time.

Affordable & delicious. Two of us ate for under $20...2 burgers & two appetizers. The burgers were tasty and the mozzarella sticks & breaded mushrooms were amazing!!
FYI, it's a tavern, so expect it to be busy & loud..you walk in & seat yourself.
We stopped in for a quick drink after work to enjoy a patio. Service was quick and friendly, even helped us get to the patio after some confusion.
The patio was amazing with tables and umbrellas for shade with nice flowers around for added attention detail.
We didn't have food but I imagine it is as good as everyone talks about.
Service can be a bit slow, but it's understandable why. The drinks are tasty, the food is always hot & fresh. Never undercooked. I recommend the fried pickle spears. The bacon burger with grilled onions & mushrooms was my favorite. Been here twice this past year & I plan on coming back!
The service was outstanding! The food was very good, I had the olive burger 😋 I recommend it! The price is very reasonable, it was too loud for my liking but it is a tavern so what can you expect. I definitely will go back.
Originally opened by an Oldsmobile factory worker, this place has kept the casual working class feel. The menu is traditional bar fare with some local favorites (Olive Burger and adult happy meal). We were outside on the back patio and our Server took great care of us and we really enjoyed ourselves. We’ve been visit Dagwoods for years and you should go check it out.
We have been here a couple of times. Nothing fancy at all but the patio is nice. The food is good for the cost. The drinks are reasonable too. If you are looking for atmosphere, this is not the place. If you are looking for a good hamburger and a beer, you have hit the jackpot!
Dagwood's is a cheap place where you can have a cheap burger with a cheap beer (they have good choices of brews), in a great atmosphere, with friendly staff. So, for what you pay, it is a great deal
Old school bar with excellent food. Home made fries, great burger. Great prices. Outdoor seating is nice... Can't beat it!
Great burgers, the owner was amazing to help us (group of 6) find a table. Friendly service and the burger was so fantastic that I'm mentioning it twice. A Lansing gem!

Been going to Dagwoods for decades. Best food and drinks in Lansing and the service is impeccable. Love decor has never changed. It always feels like home.

Dagwood's has become my favorite dive bar and I recommend it every chance I can. The food is delicious and the prices are even better. Since it is such a good spot, there can be a bit of a wait to find a table but the wait is always worth it!
