4.5 ⭐️s. First off, service is outstanding! We had Ryan & he was so helpful, very efficient, extremely pleasant & very accommodating. The premise of this restaurant is SLIDERS! Definite bar food but with an interesting twist. For example, I had Venison chili cheese fries, Cajun fries & a most delicious Poutine with cheese curds added. (Ask them to add cheese curds to the Poutine. Oh YUM!) I had a Po’ boy Slider w/lobster, a Pork belly Korean Char Sui slider, a Coney Dog slider w/ Venison chile & a Prime Rob slider. (Skip the Prime Rib slider. Wasabi horseradish sauce is great but the meat is a bit tough & over cooked. Maybe not slider material.) They have traditional slider & very unique sliders. Everything was fabulous. Variety abounds! They also have some vegetarian options that can also be moderated to accommodate vegan diners. Their sweet potato salad is vegan & delicious & if you like kale, they also had a very good, vegan-friendly kale salad per my companions. The dessert was a fake “fried” ice cream. Difficult to explain but it was very good. One of my dinner companions had a s’mores slider with bacon added & was extremely pleased. The drinks are fantastic. Definitely try the Woodford Reserve Mint Julep. The prices are almost as good as the service. The beer selection is local & Craft. Some of the beer is on draft & some in bottles. They have distilled spirits too which are all very reasonably priced. It’s a very reasonably priced, fun place with great food & excellent service (Ask for Alex or Ryan!) You will not be disappointed!
More great food and the service was even better! Highly recommend! Get dessert you won’t be disappointed
Nice place to try a handful of sliders and a nice cocktail drink. Servers were great! They offer a variety of seating and can accommodate 8 nicely to a long table. Will definitely be back!
*Only took a picture of the kale salad I had. Kale salad 10/10
Really big fan!! Great food and nice atmosphere! I really had to bump my review to five stars, this place is a cool spot in Lansing, there sliders are good and the truffles fries are awesome! It's a nice please to have lunch and enjoy a different type of meal than anything offered in lansing.
Interesting variety of sliders. All are very tasty. Fries available in seasoned or poutine are very good. Nice selection of craft beers.
So excited to come to this place! Was pleasantly surprised by how GOOD the sliders were. The classic cheeseburger was probably my favorite. Couldn’t say there was anything I didn’t like. The price is beyond reasonable and I can see this being a great place for game days because it is so BIG. The horse decor is really fun and the barn looks pretty cool. Definitely get yourself an order of truffle fries too!
While I had a wonderful time with my girlfriends— delicious strong drinks, a kind server (hi Ryan!!), and great mac and cheese. I have to say I left with a bittersweet taste in my mouth because I tried the corktown s’more. I attached a photo of the menu listing. Much to my surprise, rather than a graham cracker, it was a slider hamburger bun. It was so mushy and miserable. I wish it was forewarned that it would be a sad slider bun. But I still recommend this great yeehaw bar!! Thank you!!
Delicious sliders and nice large restaurant. And great, great service. But got the feeling like it was too large to only serve sliders. Don't understand serving them on paper bowl though... Why not serve it on real plates - decorate them with shredded lettuce or carrot and charge a little bit more like $4 each or $10 for three sliders? And maybe have Karaoke on certain nights or dancing. Just an idea. Really want to see restaurant businesses in Lansing thrive...
Great selection of sliders, even a handful of vegetarian, at a reasonable price, welcoming staff, TVs and pool tables whats not to like!. Check out GD when your hungry and want a laid back place to take away your hunger.
Fantastic! Thank God that Spartys no longer exists lol. Great space, great service and like it's Detroit counterpart, the food doesn't disappoint.
Sliders are great price, delicious, fried pickles are sooo good.
The shows and events they host are always fun and safe. The security is amazing.
Great vibes. Great place. Owner Kyle is a pretty nice guy. Bartender David or dill or something like that is pretty nice too.
Ohhh the drink the 'medium ugly' is a must try!!
Love the sliders, street tacos, and truffle fries!!! Great and friendly service.
Please fix parking lot is my only suggestion. Creater sized holes is dangerous for little cars, lots of flooding in back area.
Visited the Green Dot this week while visiting Lansing. The ownership has created a new leadership team that is infectious. They know the Lansing area well and cater to all sorts of different groups of people. The bar has events scheduled for each night and the bar/restaurant offers something for all that come in. They have darts, pool, beer pong, corn hole, inside bags, Jenga, connect 4 (a large version), seating for up to 250 plus, a newly remodeled dance floor, a full bar and a restaurant that’s ran by a very skilled chef and staff. They can offer up catering services as well as host large events. If you’re looking for something to do in Lansing, this is the place to be. Well
done to all of them. Some of the best times I’ve had in a long time.
Overall the atmosphere is great and everything was very clean! The kitchen seemed a bit behind and we had some stuff come out cold or over cooked but flavor was good overall. But our server Ryan was absolutely fantastic! He was so kind and helpful!
A friend and I had dinner here and it was good! I had the hot brown and sausage poutine (I think that's what it's called). My friend ordered a bunch of food. They are small plates at pretty reasonable prices. Think tapas but with bar food. The service was great, quick, and attentive. Next time I'm in the area I'll go back. Sorry no pics, we we're hungry. 😊
