The Unicorn Tavern - Lansing - Photo album

None of this pics were taken at the Unicorn lounge but for some reason google keeps asking me to review it with these tagged photos. They were taken at The Grid which is across the street. It was a great time and I also visited the Unicorn Lounge which was very low key and fun. Both places had grea
Lived in this area for years and never knew about this place. It was not what my wife and I expected judging from the Unicorn Statue on the front of the building. Thought we would give it a try and was thoroughly impressed. The bartender and other guests were a lot of fun. We will definitely be
It was a lot of fun! The atmosphere was laid back and the crowd was inviting!
Many changes but the feel is still there. It was nice to see Jordan behind the bar. The music provided by Jimmy G and the Capitals was great. I just hope the same bands will continue to be booked. Prices are higher, of course, the beer could be colder.
Go check out some great music and dancing. Good drink prices, although they have rules about frilly drinks- they don't serve them. Don't expect to order any food. The people who go there are great. Old Town is always LGBTQ friendly.
How do I describe my experience? The English language fails to describe to joy, the rapture I felt as I walked into this amazing establishment. The bartender instantly made me and my friends feel right at home. Service was top notch, and on the spot. The bathrooms we as clean as they were confusingl
It's an old bar that still has the ol' school charm. When you walk in you will still get the mismatched tables and bingo chairs and cushy bar seats. It's perfect if you aren't trying to impress ANYONE. Sweet Tommy, the previous owner would still nod with approval with the look it has now :)
Easy to find! Low key! Great ambiance! Decent drink prices!
Great refresh to an old local dive bar. Love Mysty and the Johnny Cash wall.
This has turned into our go to spot! I love the rainbows and butterflies drink! Music is always on point for me and staff is always friendly and cool. They have a pool table and events throughtout month, like stand up comedy, live music, dj and more. Drinks are always doubles and great prices! Also,
Hadn't been here in over a year and man has this place changed, all for the better. If you want a place you can get drinks with friends for reasonable prices this is your spot. Lansing local my whole life and this is a great bar compared to some of the others. Get the dinner special!
All the reviews here keep saying cheap drinks? I was paying $4 for a can of domestic beer. So maybe theres a secret code I dont know. Either way the bar is a lot of fun. Bartenders and door guy are really friendly. Its a good place to get out at.
The Unicorn is a good place in Old Town. They have good drinks and a faux dive bar atmosphere. The service is friendly and trivia on Monday nights is fun and well-attended. The trivia host Jamie is great!
I love the decor, service and cheap drinks. The music they play there is not my kind of music so i probably wouldn't go there when the joint was really rocking. I do love it during their off prak times.
I stepped in here on a whim with a few friends and LOVED it! Rough and rowdy crowd but very friendly. People dancing, very loud and a live band! It was awesome! Will be back in for sure!!
Bit of a dive vibe, my friends (early 20s) and I were by decades the youngest group. Cash only and no food options, but cheap stiff drinks, friendly staff and the live music Frog and the Beeftones rocked the stage. Will return.
