The best damn hot sub in Lansing, really wish they had more locations, especially ones that were accessible by Semi-truck. Definitely a great meal for us guys who live on the road, but not really accessible by Truckers. Would love it if they opened a location in a truck stop.
We dined in on a random Monday afternoon with a toddler. The pictured classic Mushroom sandwich was THE best we've ever gotten from a big John. This location surpasses the other lansing location in customer service and exceptional products. The toddler LOVED the mac and cheese.
Absolutely the BOMB!!!!! This place is amazing, went here with my uncle for the first time and I've never had anything like it. The staff was friendly and had a funny chat with us and made us feel right at home, food was cooked to absolute perfection and the prices are ridiculous for what you get it's one million % worth it even if it's out of your way
This was my first time here visiting from Arizona ordered through the drive thru and I got to say that it was amazing the fries were fresh and our sandwichs were amazing as well and the bread sauce was oh so good. Thank you for a good first time.

Again a Lansing favorite, can't beat the BBQ chicken sub with some waffle fries and red sauce. If you haven't tried it yet, I recommend it!

Food was good and the staff is friendly. The building and dining room is a little aged but in decent repair.
Great customer service, Cole is a great manager cares for his employees Emilie and veronica, and his customers. These employees that have been here for years do great and really care about everyone. Recommending to anyone who loves steak.
Extremely disappointed that there was no chili for the chili cheese fries. Happened the last time I came and again today. I like the place so I still give It 5 stars, just disappointed.

If you're interested in a good steak sandwich quick Arby's is fine but you may want a new beef sandwich. Look no further. Big John's Steak and onions.

i will never ever regret making this decision, food for me is a big deal i dont eat anything especially if its not delicious, OMG the original steak in this weird bread is outstanding, ur brain will literally regenerate from the deliciousness! order it, enjoy it
