My dad and I eat here pretty regularly. Maybe two, three times a month. It's always very quick 10-15 minutes wait time usually. The food is consistent. The girl that takes my order is very polite. I work at subway next door and I see all the cops eating there every other day, they eat Chen's more than subway, definitely try it if you haven't had Chen's before.
This place sets the standard for Chinese food in lansing. It's affordable. Great portions. Friendly staff and extremely clean bathrooms and dine in area. You are supporting a family doing what they enjoy to do! And I haven't even started on the food! The house fried rice is to travel far to get! Whoever are the chefs... they know how to WOK!

It's always fresh and great food
Had a chance to try the beef lo mein and got a pint of shrimp fried rice to go. Very fast service and still nice even though it was close to closing time.
Always Fast, Always Great!! Great Family run restaurant. BEST General Tso's in town.

If you are looking for good food fast you have found the place. I was shocked how quickly they got us our food even my son's order that was customized. I was super appreciative because I also had a 5-year-old with me who is hangry. The dumplings were fantastic we tried them both fried and steamed either way you're going to love them. The service was super friendly and always around when you needed them, the waiter was very patient and tried very hard to help my son and he was melting down about what to get to drink. The only reason I didn't give it five stars was when my meal came out it was just warm and not hot. However I did not let them know because at that point my son was starving and it was cool enough he could eat it when his food was too hot. I'm sure they probably would have rectified it immediately but for me it worked out just fine. It was really more of a 4.75 but it didn't give me that option.

I get the General Tso’s chicken here and it’s some of my favorite. You get huge portion and the sauce is to die for. The building design is also incredible. It’s like a spaceship perched on the edge of Lansing. 5/5.
I’ve only been here a few times. But the food is amazing, and very well priced. The staff are always polite and kind. The food is ready extremely fast. And it seems like nobody eats inside so it’s usually quiet, and it’s clean. I highly recommend going here.
I absolutely love Chen's. Back in high school, my friends and I would go here on half days for lunch. The food was always fantastic, they gave giant portions. We kept coming here through college and eventually I moved back to the area and lived not too far away and would get food here pretty regularly. I've never been disappointed. I know the place looks a little worn but they make great food. Whenever I'm in the area I try to make a point to stop by.
