We went as a family of 4 for lunch. The place was packed. Our server was Skylar D, and even though he was super busy, he gave us great service! Our boys were loud and messy with their milkshakes, Skylar brought us extra napkins with a smile. Looking around the packed dining room, he was giving great service to all the tables. My grandma use to take me here all the time when I was younger and I have always loved it! I forgot how cheap it was! My boyfriend and I got 2 double burgers and 2 shakes for $15! I am a server at big boy and you can't get one double burger and a shake for $15! I loved it! The service could have been a little better in the beginning but overall I loved my time there!
The place was super clean the staff super nice. Service was fast and efficient ant the food was on point. Think I'll make that my stop when I'm passing through Lansing.
Always good food and good service at this location. Servers are always friendly and polite. Saved over $10 with coupons, fed 6 people for $30, which is great. One of these days I'll download the app and start saving even more money.
Good food. Fast service. Friendly waitstaff. Manager on duty was sincere when asked us how everything was. Only complaint was we were too full for a shake.

The fries were very delicious. The burger was good but I've had better. The shake was only 3/4 of the way full. We didn't want the whip cream but I think they add it so the shake doesn't look so empty. You place your order on the kiosk. Should have a menu on the wall.
First time visitor. I drove up thinking the place looked a little sketchy, then the worker told me they were out of shakes. I was like this is crazy. No shakes at Steak and Shake!? I was ready to be disappointed but no lie those burgers were 🔥 the fries were good too. I'd definitely be back.

Really enjoyed my white truffle burger! Flavor-wise, can't believe it comes from a chain! Really that delicious! It did take a while for me to get it. We dined in. Generally I drive through. the food is always good and I always feel like the prices are good. The buns are grilled which is a critical thing for me. They didn't get a five-star from me this time, maybe next time. Will try again. Other than that, solid lunch at a good price.
This was the first time I've been to steak and shake in years, and I was pleased with the visit. Food was great, shakes were delicious. They were pretty busy and everything came out in a timely order.
Was skeptical about the previous reviews, but had a good experience! Yes, expect to use a kiosk to order, but our food was brought out to us in a very timely manner and it was good as always!

Went in tonight with my husband and daughter. They were short staffed and closing early but we didn't know that until after we got our food. The 2 gentleman that were cooking and then cleaning were just that gentleman. One brought our food to our table, very courteous, interacted with my 2yr old daughter and was just extremely pleasant. We apologized for holding them up when they were trying to close and the 2nd gentleman that was cleaning the lobby reassured us we weren't being rush and to take our time. Working in a restaurant myself I wouldn't have dined in had I known they were closing early, but I appreciate the gentleman that were working tonight. Amazing customer service 👏. Thank you.
