It's that great combination of the cows raised, cared for, & milked right in East Lansing. Using the whole milk, not skim milk, then made right on campus.
Along with the great manager/co-owner, who is a real people person & great at getting people to feel the warmth in his store & many times talks to the children first finding out they would like, offering to let them try a sample so they can figure out what they like(adults to). Always smiles & jokes around a little bit, so the customer feels at ease, & like they're the best customer of the day. Feeling like they are leaving a friends home & not just another store. Commenting as they leave "we'll be back again soon".
I wish I would've tried Capital City Scoop sooner! The owner was so kind in explaining the flavors to us, and I haven't been disappointed in or disliked any of the ice cream yet! Absolutely awesome

The server knows his product. That's the best part. He's funny and smart. The ice-ice-cream is sooooo good that that's the icice-cream on the cake!
