I placed an online order. The person called me after I placed the order. I have different area code so she wanted to make sure that I knew the restaurant was in Lansing which I thought was nice. I used to work in restaurant so I saw people order food but be in entirely different area because they ordered wrong location. I got there few minutes early so was taking to the woman at register who called me. I think she was manager or owner. She seems really nice and cool as we talked for few minutes while my food was being made Food was very good. It was fresh and they give pretty good portions. Food was bagged well where nothing was crushed or made mess. Overall it was very good experience

This is the BEST Asian food on the south side, I won’t eat anything else. The cost is worth it, and you will NEVER be disappointed!

I love their food. Good Chinese is a lil hard to come by. Especially when it comes to the way alot of different places make the crab ragoons. They deliver and it's no hassle the food is hot still and the flavor is perfect in every way. I highly recommend Panda Gourmet. I'm def going to be keeping them on my top 5 list of places.

This is a great place for Chinese food in area. Food was good. Good portion is a bit pricy.

This was my Thanksgiving dinner, and it was some of the best orange chicken I've ever had. I don't usually have high expectations for takeout rice, but theirs was super fresh, as were the ingredients in the orange chicken. I'd be getting it tonight if it wasn't Tuesday... Curse you, Tuesday! Just FYI, this place is takeout only.

I don't know what happened that other people experienced, but my household has regularly been ordering from Panda Gourmet for over a year and have nothing but good experiences. Food made fresh, prices are fair, wait times are short - including delivery time! The household loves what they make and the portions are generous. Staff have always been kind and polite on the phone, at pick up, or at delivery. They can be busy on some nights, but I've never waited on hold for more than a few minutes at a time.

Food was really good, delivery driver was very friendly. It's pretty basic American-style Chinese food, but when that's what you're in the mood for, this place hits the spot. I ordered an egg roll and specifically asked for hot mustard because I love the stuff, and they didn't just throw in one little packet, but three, which I thought was generous but reasonable for a single egg roll. Plus they still threw in the usual soy & duck sauces. Fortune cookie too. I was a little surprised they didn't include chopsticks -- not sure if that's what they usually do or if they just forgot, but it seemed intentional since they did a good job on everything generally. No biggie for me since I have chopsticks at home but I thought it was kind of a strange omission. They did good though, and I'll definitely consider them again in the future for Chinese delivery.

In reading the reviews I think it's clear the food is really inconsistent. My first time here and food was amazing. Consistency is key and that must be why it was dead during lunchtime.

Amazing love it ! The last review had bad comment on dine in I personally have always got it Togo or delivery so I could not comment on dine in Update 10/18/2017 they now close on Tuesday which is one of my days off ! :( changed to 4 star from 5 star because of it. Update 8/20/2019: I am going to keep it at a four star because of Tuesday’s while I understand being a small business owner that you have to keep your cost down. I don’t quite understand why they close on Tuesday. Possibly personal reasons , esp if the owner works every day. Besides that it is still amazing food I think out of 30 visits I have been disappointed once because they were out of fried dumplings. The other food was still amazing though that one time. All in all a great place for take out and delivery. I still have not dined in and I probably won’t ever. Update 10/24/2019 : changed back to a 5 star because the food is always fresh and delicious. I just had to change my routine a little because of Tuesday but after a few months I got use to it. I have to say I have only tried 20% of the menu. I usually get orange chicken, fried dumplings and all lo mien.

At first glance walking in was pleasant. It was very clean and well displayed. However, the service was lukewarm at best, but it was quiet and just what we were looking for. So we kind of ignored the short responses from the female. (Later found out she was the owner). We ordered few different entrées that were delicious and priced under $25 (with tip). We have gotten better interaction after that first time. Food and prices stay consistent. If you decide to dine-in, you will be very pleased with spacing of the tables. We plan on eating there tonight! :)

My wife and I have ordered take-out from here for the past several years. Clearly, we enjoy the food and have not had the experience that others mention. Also, I find that some people think that a person being short, focused, and to the point is rude. No. It's short, focused and to the point. If you want good food, I recommend Panda Gourmet. It's authentic and very good.

Friendly service from the owner. Food is usually pretty tasty. Usually quite fresh, with occasional lapses(like old tasting rice in combinations, usually when owner isn't there.) The meat quality could be a little better. Fresh meat but sometimes a little chewy. Still prefer this place to anywhere else locally.
