I have been working in Lansing for the past year, yet I only recently started getting my lunch from Sahara Delight. Ever since I started going, I have no other reason to go anywhere for lunch. The staff and owners are extremely friendly and warm natured. The food is amazing, especially for a price that you cannot beat at any other restaurant. I would strongly encourage anyone to give them a try!

Beautiful restaurant in downtown Lansing. Sort of a hole in the wall place that is easy to miss but I would absolutely recommend that you stop in. The portions are very generous to say the least, especially given the prices. I had the saraha sampler which I would only recommend if you are going into it knowing that you are getting essentially 2-3 meals out of it. Very good food and very friendly staff.
My partner and I came here to flee from the cold during Silver Bells 2022. I got the eggplant plate, and wow—the eggplant was delicate, tender, and flavorful! My partner's chicken shawarma sandwich was delicious as well. The staff were kind, and the service was *very* fast. I will definitely come here again next time I'm downtown.

They are extremely friendly and we’re very nice to my daughter I was delivering door-dash a they gave her some food. I would 100% recommend this place. She also loved their food.
First visit, May 2023. It was a great experience. The staff were nice. The service was really fast. And the food was really good. I had Chicken Schwarma, rice, pita, and hummus. It was around $12 plus a tip. They don't skimp on portion sizes either. Will be returning!
The best spot for lunch in downtown Lansing. Quick service. Fantastic and FRESH tabbouli. Great vegetarian options (mujadara and burgol are my go-tos). Also really flavorful kofta.

Amazing falafel. Amazing hummus. Lunch crowd is rowdy but enough tables for everyone interested. A bit loud when busy. Staff looked busy but not stressed, all smiles. A bit pricey but worth it if you've got a craving.

I absolutely love the food at Sahara delight! Authentic healthy Lebanese food made with fresh ingredients and a lot of flavor. Really generous portion sizes too! The owner is very friendly and I look forward to keep supporting this local family's business!
The best Mediterranean food I've ever had! One of the best places to eat in Lansing. The shawarma chicken is unmatched. Hummus is also one of my favorite dishes there. Have yet to try something I don't like. Not to mention the owner/guy making the food is about as nice as they come. Surprised at how much food they give you for the cost also.
Super happy with everything, they were able to work with my gluten free needs and the food was tasty! The lentil soup even had a slight kick to it, with a nice lemony spice flavor. The grape leaves were a little small, but they did give 6 in a combo. Hummus is tasty too! The cook, whom looked like the owner, was extra friendly and knowledgeable and genuinely happy to do what he does. The food reflects this! Thank you!
I went in today and spoke with the owner, great guy, and ordered a chicken shawarma plate and it was easily the tastiest plate I have ever had. They gave a large portion and the scenery was great. I look forward to going back and having more of their tasty food.
The best authentic Middle Eastern food I’ve ever had! I ordered the cauliflower plate with feta honey sauce on the side. Amazing. Great consumer service.
Very good prices, friendly place. Lentil soup left something to be desired but their falafel combo is great, I can really eat and I couldn't even finish it. Lots of things to go with your dish. Will update when I finally try their fresh juice. Definitely would recommend over Aladdin's Express.
Did a weight loss challenge through work and decided to eat here for the full 10 weeks. I went from 250lbs to 210lbs with little working out. The food is delicious and very healthy for you as well.
Best for to lunch place. Post pandemic quality and quantity has diminished at downtown locations. This place is our go to place. Good quantity and quality food.
