I've always had a good meal here.
Usually always a good place for country cooking or to grab a burger & fries. Like anywhere once in awhile the food isn't perfect but can't really complain after being a repeat customer for 15+ years. Definitely recommend đź‘Ť. Take out only.
We had heard mixed reviews and decided we needed to give this place a shot to form our own opinion. We got the double cheeseburger, fries, and drinks. The burgers were delicious- a little crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside….and they were huge! Neither my husband nor I could finish our meal - leftovers were great that evening!! Will definitely go back!!
Wonderful service. The lady who took my order and prepared my food was very friendly and polite. The biscuits and gravy and tenderloin hit the spot.
We went to Country House for breakfast and it was delicious. My livermush was thin and crispy and they made sure to mayonnaise both sides of the bun. I ordered a glass of milk and received an Adult size cup, which was great as an adult who still drinks milk. they are only open for carry out, which was alright, and the service was friendly and fast enough for two people on vacation with nowhere to go anyway. They are closing a little earlier, maybe around 8, as they were already closed when we tried to stop for dinner the night before.
Picked up breakfast from Country House this morning. We are in town visiting and wanted something tasty. Ordered a nice spread... pancakes, French toast, eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy, etc. It was delicious! Classic, home-cooked meal. Tastes like it came from granny's kitchen. Prepared quickly and with care. It was also inexpensive, which helps a lot when you're a family of five. Looking forward to trying some lunch/dinner options because I'm sure it will be just as good. If you're in Lansing or just passing through, be sure to stop by the Country House!

Been eating there since I was young, good home town atmosphere and friendly people and home cooked meals.
Best sausage , egg & cheese sandwich I’ve had in years. So good, went back an hour later for another. Excellent service, food comes out fast and good. Next time I’m in the area, I’ll be back!
We had a superb breakfast here. The food was absolutely delicious and the lady who took our order was super friendly and sweet. We’re not in town long but will most likely be going back for breakfast again tomorrow.

Always friendly and the food is fantastic. Good ole country Cookin! The biscuits and gravy are some of the best I’ve had and I’ve had a lot! Highly recommend!
This place is the real deal. We had a fairly large order and everything was delicious. Do yourself a favor and order the cheese fries with homemade ranch!

Food is very good according to the local eaters every week. Many people says it is great. Been in a few times but being vegetarian not in often but has always a house full for lunch no where to park.
Been told by many that the burgers are great.
I always go here for a seafood meal. It is close to home making for a convenient place for dining or takeout! However, the food at my last visit was not quite as good a usual. For now, I will credit it to just being an off night. The future will determine my final decisions to continue visit this restaurant.
