The food was amazing.
When you sit down, you get warm tortilla chips and salsa. The salsa is full of flavor, but I feel like it could be a bit thicker.
My waitress, I believe her name was Lexy, was so kind and friendly. She suggested food to me that turned out to be the best I've had in a long time (chicken fajitas).
I will be going back for a cold drink and warm food.
Stopped in here recently, out of town looking for a place to eat and stumbled across Pueblo Viejo.
The food here is pretty good, fresh chips and salsa came right out when we were seated. Not very busy, the rice was a bit bland, but not terrible. The atmosphere here is pretty nice, food came out quick. Girlfriend ordered shrimp fajitas and I ordered fried chicken tacos that were on special, the tacos were loaded with chicken, so much chicken that I could barely fold them. I'd definitely come back to this place just to try out some other items, maybe grab a drink. The reason behind the 4 star rating is because the lack of flavor in the rice, my girlfriend didn't really get enough shrimp to fill her 3 fajitas, and it's up there in price compared to some other Mexican restaurants in my hometown.
I come here just about every week. I love Pueblo Viejo & I used to not like Mexican food at all! The salsa is so good, fresh chips are always hot upon serving… delicious! And the wait staff are sweet, attentive and fun! Taco Tuesday has such great deals, but I would come any day of the week if my schedule allowed. Give them a good tip! They deserve it.
Staff were so pleasant and professional. Extensive menu made an entree selection difficult. Good was delicious and abundant. Would definitely return and recommend stopping if you like mexican cuisine.
This is an interesting review I must say my family ordered carry out this evening and the food was not the best it could be, but I am giving this review a 4 because of the restaurant staff and especially the managers attitude. I was able to call back and speak with the manager and he was able to help me. I’m going to give them another try.
Quick, great prices and awesome food. Best Mexican food I've had in a LONG time. I'll definitely be back, even if it's an hour away!
