Excellent service and wide variety of healthy dishes; a definite must for vegetarians. I recommend their aguas frescas and their frozen yoghurt. Mr. Vazquez is a very friendly and courteous Manager; his staff is very knowledgeable and courteous as well. I recommend this place amply and I will certainly come back whenever I visit Laredo in the near future.
Delicious food, wide vegetarian/vegan menu offerings and very friendly people. Can grab something quick to-go or sit and stay a while. Definitely recommend. Coming here on business I had two cancelled flights and had to drive to Laredo from San Antonio. Dinner here made it all worth it.
My favorite place to eat when I visit Laredo. El Quinto Sol had excellent dishes, drinks, and great service. Best place to eat if you want to eat healthy.
I go to Quinto Sol often other than being a healthy base restaurant the food tastes really good! I like the options that are given in the food menu I would just like to see a little more smoothie options but its a good place to eat I recommend it :)

Eating a delicious salad named Fresca-ingredients-lettuce, spinach, broccoli, peas, bell pepper, cucumber, parsley, hard boiled egg, cranberries, cottage cheese, tomato, olives, corn, marsh mellows, panela cheese, and sunflower seeds. I added soy chicken and a fresh pina and perejil drink! Delicious! Service and ambiance is fantastic!

As a vegetarian, I have been remarkably blessed by finding a restaurant that not only meets my needs but goes above and BEYOND by excelling them. Great spot for vegetarians/vegans. Most of the menu is vegetarian but they have a few vegan options, however there are some vegetarian options that can be turned to vegan. Tacos al Pastor (which I highly recommend, probably my favorite option in the menu), they contain cheese but you can ask it to be removed in order to make it vegan. Another vegan option worth to try is the Guisado plate, I asked for seitan carnitas which are extremely good, and it comes with two sides (I went for the nopales and chile ancho + brown rice). For a delicious vegetarian breakfast, the fifth sun plate is a great option, it comes with two eggs, two vegan bacon pieces and two vegan sausages, plus a couple of healthy and delicious pancakes. If you like healthy smoothies, I highly recommend the Licuado Vegetal, since contains a lot of vitamins, fiber and it's delicious, we ordered also the Licuado Fuerte which is very good as well. Service is great and pricess are accesible, although I'd recommend to go for the high protein options for it to worth it because otherwise I'd consider it a little expensive if you just go for the vegetables.
I loved this spot! They were really friendly and helpful, and the food was fresh, yummy, and healthy. It’s always hard to find a spot while traveling with food that makes you feel nourished and helps your body feel good, and this did the trick. I came twice over 2 days in Laredo.
Couldn’t get enough of their salads and love that you can get multiple salads in a single order.
Fast and friendly service. But more importantly, the food was amazing. Refreshingly healthy options that tasted fabulous. My belly was full but I wanted more so I got an order to go! I'll definitely be back.
Love the yogurt ice cream here! They offer a large variety of vegan, carb free, and other diet foods. Service is great quality of food is too.
