Love Panai Thai!!! Very clean place, delicious food, nice energy and the lady serving the food is always very friendly (I believe she is the owner)... Highly recommend!
Having been in north central Thailand at Khon Kaen in 1972-73, I would visit Udon Thani during my free time. I had liked Kao Pad, which is a Thai version of Fried Rice. I had it here and felt as if I was in a time machine. We also had the fried banana and coconut ice cream for dessert. Had a Singha Beer and had forgotten how great a beer it is. Both the food and the family that run it are great. This may be our new go to restaurant.
We stopped in for lunch, and it was fantastic! They offer great lunch specials, without sacrificing flavor or quality! It is authentic Thai cooking, with a nice variety of specials at lunch. You will not be disappointed if you stop in! It is the little shopping center. Once you find it, you will be happy you found it, and will definitely be back! :)
This place is great ! Atmosphere is wonderful as is the staff. Food is fresh and the Thai iced coffee.....Delish ! Highly recommend to get over there and try it !!

Dinner at Panai Thai again tonight - and it was excellent as usual. Since they opened, we've dined there about once a week. Every time, I try something different and every time I am impressed with the high quality of both the food and the service. Tonight I enjoyed chicken and rice soup, an appetizer sampler and red curry chicken - all delicious! My wife likes the Pad Thai and my daughter usually gets soup and a plate of steamed dumplings - her favorite.
12 of us had lunch here today and everything was awesome! Great food and great service! Lunch was $6.95 with soup and spring roll.
First things is first....the food is outstanding at this establishment. It also provides a humble atmosphere that welcomes and comforts. You can get lost sitting at booth and enjoing conversation with a family member, friend or loved one. I highly recommend Panai Thai, it has become one of my absolute favorite resturants !

Small restaurant but clean and comfortable. There is no sushi like others and straightly thai dishes. This is the only place that make the thai basil fried rice the way it should be. The other dish has fresh ingrediencies and equally impressive.
Great service and wonderful food! Definitely recommend the Tom kha soup and steamed dumplings. Will definitely come back soon!
I guess we are little disappointed and we understand how hard it is to stay ahead even in these times. The food was a little fresh, it was missing the flavor and kick we normally get from other Thai restaurants. We give it another try to see if it was just an off day.
Really good Thai food! Panang Curry is amazing with rich sweet coconut milk and spice flavor.
This place is amazing. I have a very hard allergy list (peppers, tomatoes, paprika, white potatoes) basically all the nightshade foods & they were so accommodating towards me. The server made sure she let me know what was in the side sauces. Also, they accommodated what they put in your food (paprika, peppers mainly here) for me. I will def be coming back. Also, the food was amazing!
I ordered veggie springrolls and sweet and sour tofu with veggies. Both were delicious and the vegetables were fresh and crisp. I would have given 5 stars but the after taste of the tofu was a bit fish flavored and left me somewhat skeptical since I am a vegetarian. Still a cozy lovely restaurant and friendly service.
I would say, unless you know where you're going, unlike me, don't go late at night. I got lost twice because there are barley any lights around that area. Also, the strip mall area was very dark and only a tad bit sketchy. I turned around in my car and there was a police car parked behind me. What a late night adventure for delicious Thai food!
First time I tried Thai food. I was very happy with all the food we ordered everything was great. Fried Dumplings were very good. Place was clean and ladies are very nice and very helpful on explaining the tastes of the foods. We ordered 7 different foods and everything was great
