December 2016 Update: Mr. Sensitive stopped in at Wingstop to see how this place was doing. Ambiance was about the same.....the place was clean and well managed. Rate the ambiance about a B-. The service at the counter was friendly and polite. It takes about 18 minutes to prepare the wings. ....which I was apprised of when my order was placed. The only thing I did not care for was when my name was called to come and pick up my order the staff member simply left the tray at the counter and disappeared.....never greeted me or asked if I needed anything else. I know, this is a minor thing but I'm "old school." A helpful, warmer, and more professional atmosphere.....just a little extra to show the customer you really care about their experience in your establishment can go a long way.  Rate the service a B.

I ordered ten wings.......five with teriyaki sauce and five with garlic & parmesan. The wings were fairly meaty and juicy. The garlic & parmesan was dry but pretty good. The teriyaki sauce was quite wet....but not bad in flavor. All-in-all, these were pretty good wings. Rate them between a "B" and a "B+."   Overall dining experience rate about THREE-AND-A QUARTER TO THREE-AND-A-HALF (3.25-3.5) STARS.....meaning better than your average fast food joint.

BOTTOM LINE: WILL I RETURN TO DINE? MAYBE.

A VERY AVERAGE CHICKEN WING PLACE.

The Wingstop in a little plaza near the corner of Missouri and Solano is larger than it appears from the outside. Inside it holds about 12 or 13 tables, a few by the front windows and the rest running down the eastern side. Order at the counter and wait until your order is ready. Its a no tipping place unlike BWW which appeals to many people. Straws, salt packets, and paper towels are on the counter. Rate the ambiance a C to C+.

I found the menu to be quite limited...mostly wings and fries. Most people were ordering takeout...calling in orders ahead of arrival. If you call ahead you will not have to wait the 20 minutes I did to get my food. There was no one eating in this afternoon and that cannot be used as an excuse for the slow service. It looked like most of the food prep guys I saw in the kitchen were not "bustin a hump" if you know what I mean. I found the service at the counter businesslike....read not professional or outwardly personable. Rate the service overall a C.

The food I had here is ok, nothing special. They do offer seven or eight different sauces with their wings. Unfortunately I chose BBQ and it was just slopped over the wings. The wings themselves were sort of generic. If someone tells you they are crummy...not true. They are just so-so. If someone tells you they are somehow special, really great...not true. They are just so-so. Rate the wings a B.

The fries were actually pretty decent. They had a nice seasoning and were not oily or greasy.

On a positive note....the bathroom at the Wingstop...at least on this day...was clean.

For wings there are numerous places with comparable or better wings...but you might have to go in and sit down and pay a tip. I guess that's the attraction at the Wingstop where MOST OF THEIR BUSINESS SEEMS TO BE CARRYOUT. . Rate the place THREE STARS. Yet, the takeout crowd will probably find it to their liking.

BOTTOM LINE: WILL I RETURN TO DINE HERE? IT COULD HAPPEN.

Best wings!. I have tried wings from so many different places and the Wing Stop has the best wings anywhere! The lemon pepper and the cajun are my favorites. Their wings have great flavor and texture. They blow that buffalo place out of the water!

Always consistent with the quality of food. I did have to wait about 45 mins to get it. I ordered online and it said 15-20 mins. So after I arrived to pick it up I was told about another 6 minutes.

Good thighs and wings. Sometimes they are saucy and sometimes they are drier and extra crispy. I like them extra crispy. We always do carryout. The atmosphere to eat in isn't great after COVID because almost everyone is standing waiting for their orders.

Amazing customer service. Best wings in Las cruces hands down. I never wait more than expected + it is well worth the wait. Their ranch is to die for and pairs well with their parmesan fries and an ice cold coke or Dr pepper. My lady really enjoyed their atomic sauce and gets usually a couple sides of it.🤘🏽🤝🏽🔥🍗
