The food here was incredible. Literally compliments to the chef who stopped by and fist bumped me. The best crab cake I’ve ever eaten. The steak was perfect, and so were the sides. Even my mom doesn’t make mashed potatoes this good! The server recommended a fantastic red wine to accompany the steak
We came to the Redwood steakhouse specifically for the prime rib, which was excellent as reviewed! The prime rib portion was the largest I've ever had, and it was perfectly cooked (medium for us!) Unfortunately, after the Sweet Maui onion soup and the gratis garlic bread, I could barely dent my Pri
Wonderful place tucked away for big portions and good food for around $100 per person. Main meat courses are a la carte but side dishes are big enough to share. Bread was ok.. Onion soup was delicious. Oysters were fresh. Asparagus could have used some seasoning. Ribeye was cooked medium rare to
Surprised by great food, service and atmosphere. Didn't expect this at the California Hotel. Thought is was a vacation spot for Hawaiians because of less expensive packages. Chef's dishes were one of a kind. Quality of meats excellent. Had the pork chops from specially grown pigs. So tender and
Wonderful service from Yul. All of the entrees and sides were prepared excellently.

I had a new York strip . It was like a old boot vary to chew. Good coffee. Price was not worth the steak.
Monster Prime Rib End Cut cooked to Medium. 24 ozs of just meat. It was HUGE!!! This is a normal cut for the restaurant 24 ozs. It was very good but that was a lot of meat. This cut is better off shared.
Everything we ordered was really good. Reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the lamb chops had a lot gristle, but had good flavor. For dessert we got the apple dumpling and it was fantastic!
