So I’ve been here twice. The first time was a solid experience. There was a bit of a wait to get seated but we were served quickly and the prime rib and fish and chips were great for the price. I definitely wanted to get the prime rib again. Fast forward almost a year later and we go back only to find we got there too late. They stop serving the prime rib at 11pm. We opted for the $10 steak and eggs and the cheeseburger. It took a long time to get the food and the steak wasn’t good, but what do you expect for the price. The cheeseburger was decent with lots of greens and a juicy patty but it only came with ranch dressing on the side. It really needed thousand island dressing or mayo. The steak fries needed a few more minutes in the fryer. I’ll be back but this time earlier in the evening.
I like the local vibes. The service was great. She was courteous and efficient. The reason i come here is for the double cut prime rib!! Only a few can finish this monster!! Food was delicious. I never felt rushed which allowed me to sit and chat with an old friend.. This is my go to spot for prime rib and it should be yours as well!!
Excellent place. Real nice service with a great food and is cheap! Totally worth! Ask for the fish and chips during the dinner or the steak and eggs after 11 pm. They have a good beers options. Amber ale and IPA are good choices!!!
Found out about the famous Steak and Eggs deal from social media. Had to check it out we went two times within our stay the food was really good. Ordered the Steak and Eggs breakfast dish both times we went and also had an order of French Toast. No complaints. Will always come back when I’m in town.
Food was good, wouldn't say amazing. Maybe we'll try the prime rib next time. Had the salmon, fried fish, and Reuben. Salmon was a bit in the dry side as well as the Reuben and the steak fries. Fried fish was a little overcooked. Made it in before the long line started to form. Place was packed. Service wasn't bad, but they did seem to be a bit short handed. No charge for parking. Next time might try the bbq restaurant.
Been coming here for years. Really can’t beat the $12.99 diner steak meal. Includes salad. Also had the brownie with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream for $6.
What a gem. This place was unknown to me but I saw one of the food vloggers I follow had gone so I decided to try another of his suggestions...so happy I did! We got the prime rib meal, medium rare, and the fish and chips and we split everything. Wowza! This could be the best fish I have ever had, the chips (fries) were solid too. The prime rib was cooked perfectly and the portions did not disappoint - very American!!! We also tried the French Onion soup. The wait staff was so friendly and kind. Everything came out quick and refills were easy to get. Cindy was a great waitress! They also brew their iced tea and it was very good. We tried their in house root beer and it was really good. Reminds me of the old fashioned taste of A&W. Very tasty. All in, I had no real complaints. It is in the casino and was kinda loud and it is a little dark but honestly not a big deal. Worth it for the food and friendly service!
This restaurant at the Ellis Island casino is highly recommended for breakfast specials such as steak and eggs (pictured). I had a skillet dish that featured mushrooms and sundried tomato with chicken breast. Tried their homemade root beer, which was also really good. Their menu also has burgers and other standard breakfast fare. You will not leave hungry!
Our Uber driver recommended Village Pub for the steak and eggs special and it did not disappoint! 8 oz of perfectly cooked top sirloin, eggs any style, crispy potatoes, and toast for $9.99!!!! The quality exceeded our expectations. Wonderful food and fast, friendly service! Can’t wait to come back!
I can't even say for the price this is a wonderful place. This place serves outstanding food the fish and chips and the steak fries are delicious. The King cut prime rib is the one to pick. The service is like a small town cafe you would go into off the side of the road. Service is that kind of small town friendly. Place is clean and very warm and inviting.
Excellent food & service. This is an affordable, fun place, one block off the strip where locals hang out. More bang for your buck. Relaxed atmosphere.
Got the prime rib. I would recommend if you are not looking to spend an arm and a leg to get it.
Could have had a little more taste but the sauce made everything taste great.
Service was quick and friendly.
Only 5 min drive from strip !!
Great customer service. Went after 11 pm to take advantage of the steak, Eggs, potato deal that is $9.99. It is not on the menu but server does mention it so you can take advantage of the promotion just make sure you go for late night eats after 11 pm. Overall because of the price I gave 4 stars. Should be a 3 star experience since the steak was definitely way over cooked but the price and service made up for the steak being over cooked and gave 4 stars. Short 1 mile walk behind the strip (behind Paris hotel/Horseshoe aka old Ballys). Reasonable pricing. I would visit again for a cheap meal
Who would think that a 15 minute walk from the strip could deliver such amazing results? Village Pub is well worth the detour. Great service and amazing food. The Fish and Chips are among the best I've ever had. French fries were fresh, hot and crispy. The craft brew was delishious and only $4 a pint. Wow. My only disappointment is that we could have gone a couple of years ago when we first learned about it and didn't. Do yourself a favor. Save some money and go get a five-star meal.
Highly recommend good coffee great food I ordered the waffles and chicken. Was fantastic, great service and if you wanted can order a pint of beer with your breakfast. Great food at a great price.
Great place for a steak and egg breakfast on a budget. We were here right after Thanksgiving for the Chiefs vs. Raiders game. The grandstands and lighting along the strip for the F1 race were still up.
