If there is a better deli in Vegas I don’t know about it (but would like to). The sandwiches are huge. They are really big enough for two people. This makes the price more appropriate for a sandwich but also leaves room for other yummy things like a knish.
Good place. Been here a bunch. mostly for breakfast. Order at the window usually after a small line. They hand you your drink and a number. Find your seat yourself usually. A waitress brings your food over. Food tastes good. Staff is attentive.
Very good but not quite the size of the original in NY both in portions and overall menu choices. My most recent visit did not have the greatest service. I paid for a drink and I had a lot of difficulty getting my server to come by and pour refills for me. She just wouldn't circulate and then somehow didn't see me trying to wave her over multiple times. The food was delicious. I've had the Woodie Allen and the Bacon Turkey club as well as the Matso Ball soup with golden noodles. I could eat that soup all day long. the woody Allen wasn't quite as big as the last one I had at the now closed NY location but I'd still eat it again. I love Jewish deli!
We always come here for the Pastrami Reuben. It's a giant sandwich that you can split with one other person. The meat inside is incredibly flavorful and it goes so well with the kraut and thousand island dressing. The cheesecake is also great! Very big portion and light and creamy.
The prices here are on the high end but it's very worth it for the sandwich at least. The service was pretty quick for the sandwich but had to wait a while after we finished it to get the cheesecake for some reason. It would be better if everything came out at the same time.
My family and I love this place. The portions are perfectly sized (except the omelette which is MASSIVE) and everything tastes absolutely delicious. They're not too expensive, and they have the best gluten free toast I've ever had. Bonus points for being dog friendly too.
We will definitely be coming back here next time I'm in Vegas. They didn't disappoint us, and they won't disappoint you.
A great deli in the New York or Chicago neighbourhood style. The corned beef Rueben is delicious, but gets only four stars as the corned beef could have been a slight bit more moist. The portions are incredible, so bring your beloved and share (bring a friend or grab someone and make a nrw random friend if a beloved isn't an option). Eating an entire sandwich yourself will lead simultaneously to happiness and regret.
Try the cherry cheesecake for a late night snack. You will no doubt be hungry after a night of Vegas partying and will need a sugar rush.
Sad to see a great institution close down after 79 years. I am posting these photos from the original restaurant from NYC. While i still prefer the pastrami from Katz's, I am a big fan of the matzo ball soup and knish from this place
OMG the Corned Beef on rye was the most delicious sandwich. Good thing we got just one and split it. A bit pricey and the dill pickle was not a true deli style dill, in my opinion. Other than that a great place for lunch while walking the Strip.
Excellent Pastrami sandwich. We ordered the combo which comes with half sandwich, your choice of Cole slaw, potato salad or chips, a pickle and a drink. The half sandwich was huge. We will return.
Great place this is located in Treasure Island sandwiches are big and you get a lot of fries.... unless you're very hungry, you may want to split it. Service was fast
Go on an empty stomach here. One sandwich fed two of us! Corned beef was moist and tender and melted in your mouth. Server was sweet. I almost laughed at the sight of the bread. Should have brought a Big Plate with just the Corned beef on it with at at least six slices of bread to make your own sandwich. But that's cool though. It's the nostalgia from good ole NYC. Pricy but worth it ! After all it's only once in a while right. The presentation of this Mega sandwich was Awesome !! Had a piece of their Cheesecake which was excellent and HUGE, with strawberries . Tables were very clean and organized. Everything was fresh and delicious. Thanks Carnegie. See you again.
Expensive, even for the Strip.
We split the Reuben and cheese blintzes for lunch between 2 people.
A Reuben was $25.99, and that’s without fries! Yes, it is a large serving, but it still doesn’t justify that price. We got it with turkey and we subbed cheddar cheese for Swiss cheese.
The cheese blintzes were delicious and came with applesauce and sour cream. However, they were $11.49 for 3 little blintzes.
Lunch for two people—with only one entree and one appetizer—ended up being over $40 with tip!
Good food, but prices are outrageous.
On the pricey side but the portions are huge. One sandwich could probably feed two people for 2 meals. The cheesecake is so creamy.
Huge sandwiches - wow. We had a beef sandwich and it was a struggle getting that taste meal down. Go there hungry cause you will not leave there feeling that way. Cost is reasonable and the service is diner style. Nice place
Fabulous service and amazing food. Great options too like the half sandwich combo. Experience a traditional deli sandwich with half the calories. Pop is bottomless and pickles come with the sandwiches.
As good as the original in NYC that has closed. But the tradition moves on at the Mirage. The pastrami and the cheesecake are the best ever.
