Took my wife and Godmother to give Jessie Rae’s a try based on great Yelp reviews. The place is kind of small, but the BBQ coming out of there is BIGTIME!!! I ordered the maniac fries.....it was soooo much food! I substituted the waffle fries for tater tots because that’s how I roll and I chose the brisket, which topped the huge pile of tots and mac n cheese and sliced hot links. The brisket was chopped up very nicely and smothered in a combination of their outstanding sauces. Our favorite sauce was the Fallen Angel.....perfect amount of sweet with the perfect amount of heat!! My wife had The Duke, which is a pile of waffle fries topped with delicious pulled pork and smothered in sauce, and my Godmother had the Belt Buckle, which is waffle fries topped with chopped brisket and smothered with sauce!! We went at around 7pm and the place was empty, so we were able to order right away. Soon after we ordered, some other people showed up, so our timing was good! The service was awesome! Samantha, who I think is the owner’s mom, welcomed us as if we were visiting her home and explained the menu since it was our first time. She told us to have a seat wherever we pleased and promptly brought our food to the table. After we started eating, I realized that I had forgotten to order an extra side of mac n cheese for my wife, so I asked Samantha for a side. She brought it out right away and as I was getting ready to pay, she told me not to worry about it.....that was freakin awesome of her! We normally like mac n cheese that is drenched in gooey cheese sauce, so my wife was slightly disappointed because the Mac n cheese was a bit on the dryer side, BUT the pasta was still nice and al dente!! I hate mushy, overcooked pasta, so this one was very enjoyable to me!! Overall, our experience was very enjoyable and Jessie Rae’s has become our new local BBQ spot!! Well done!!!!!

From Oklahoma where bbq is the best, tried this place on a referral from a coworker and was surprised by how good the food was. Definitely recommend this place.

Ya gotta try this place!! Wow! some of the best BBQ this guy from Memphis ever had! I had the Pulled Pork and Brisket. Both were Amazing - I'm a Pulled Pork Fan but must say the Brisket was the best. A first for me was the White Sauce. Excellent!!!

Ok, this place.... It’s off the beaten path. It’s in an industrial area off Valley View and Russell. It’s a hole in the wall. DO NOT let that stop you from going. The one thing about Vegas is that hole in the walls most of the time have the best foods. Was Jessie Rae’s food good? No! It was beyond exceptional. I will be going back before too long. Mad props for the Carolina Gold mustard (not really bbq) sauce. .com

Best barbecue I've ever had in Las Vegas for the money! It's Super TITS! I had the brisket in the waffle fries and they were absolutely Sensational and then I got knee deep in the Fallen Angel sauce which has incredibly smooth texture with sensuous after flavors but it has a little bit of a good bite. Good bite is definitely worth the while when you come here See you guys here!

Fall off bone ribs, tender brisket, delish beans hot links very tasty. If you like a lot of bbq sauce on meat this isn't the place. Dry rubs are tasty

We are there today and found our new favorite restaurant. This place is delicious! The maniac fries were killer, ribs we delicious, brisket was tender, and the flavors were off the charts. Mike was friendly and it’s the type of place where I’ll go back time and time again. I live 40 minutes away and will go back just to eat there. It’s THAT good. Go check it out!

My fiancé and I came to visit from Kansas and decided to try this place. We absolutely loved it, it’s better than any BBQ place we ate in Kansas! If we ever come back to Vegas we will defiantly be eating here again.

Glistening rays of sauce tenderize our iron hearts. Brisket that rewards the horde, yet remains fine enough to widen the eyes of maidens kingdomwide, over the many hillsides to which the enchanting aroma traverses.

What a place!!! Recently had a trip to vegas, obviously i googled ‘best smokehouse in vegas’, this place came up top of the list... so we gave it a whirl!! Ive tried a few bbq eateries in my time and this one was defo up top!! The brisket is naughty!! The waffle fries and the sauce on them are naughty!! The only downside was there was no beer currently served (thats being looked into)!! GET YOURSELF DOWN TO THIS PLACE IF YOU LIKE DECENT MEAT!!!

Had to try the place out after seeing it on the way to work all the time. My only regret is not trying it sooner! Cashier was friendly, atmosphere was alright, but the food was really good. I ordered the loaded Mac and cheese and the Jessie Rae Mac. The Mac and cheese was very flavorful and had a very tender flavorful brisket mixed in. The Jessie Rae Mac was loaded with meat that was very juicy and tender. Highly recommend checking them out!

I have heard good things about Jessie Rae’s BBQ for a couple years now and decided to give it a try for the first time. Ordered half rack spare ribs and 2lbs of brisket which came out to a little over $70. I see why this place gets such good reviews, the ribs were flavorful and the most tender I’ve ever eaten and the bbq sauce was good. The brisket was great as well, tender and great taste as well. Will definitely come back to get food here again.

Awesome BBQ!!! Brisket was delicious and juicy, pulled pork was tender and flavorful, sauces were unique and great! We had the Household of Three that had brisket, pulled pork, and hot links smashed between two buns. The loaded waffle fries, and then The Fortress. The Fortress was something that would be straight off of the Food Network Channel. It was a work of art. A rack of ribs surrounding a pot of waffle fries, pulled pork and Mac and cheese topped with some hot links. This is called the fortress because it could feed an army. Place was amazing, staff was great, the wait was nonexistent. The only SLIGHT knock was tho the ribs were delicious, they were a tiny bit dry. But not enough to complain because the sauces made up for it. Solid BBQ place you can’t miss if you’re in Vegas.

Being from Texas normally I would not get BBQ in Las Vegas but I came in to get the Fortress as it is a very unique item you can't find anywhere else. First off this item is way bigger than it looks in pictures. It is a lot of food. Most photos only show the item as it looks when it first comes out, not "unpacked" when you empty the contents inside of the rack of spare ribs so I provided some pictures to show what that looks like. I was able to finish it all by myself but the waitress told me she has been working there 3 years and sells about 25 of them per day and I was the 3rd person she has ever seen that has been able to eat it all solo. She said regularly that 2 or 3 grown men will come in and order it and won't be able to finish it together. To be fair I am training for a full Ironman and had come in to eat straight off an 85 mile bike ride and 6 mile run that I had already done that day. The brisket and sausage were very good by the Texas BBQ standards I am accustomed to, and the sauces were good. The spare ribs were also good. I'd love to come back and try the Waffle Fries and Mac and Cheese standalone. Overall the Fortress was a very unique item and worth coming in. I came by on the Friday before Labor Day around 2pm, and had to wait about 15 minutes for a table, but it was worth it.

This place is over the top with their BBQ. Hands down the best BBQ I've ever had at any establishment. The Fortress was a work of art and beyond delicious. I'm coming back here every time I travel back to Vegas. Vibe was great here and the cook even came out and talked to us about the Fortress. Love this place!!! 🙌

I love finding places like this. It's just a little hole in the wall bbq place and it had some of the best bbq I've had in a long time. I got the maniac fries with brisket and I highly recommend it. It's the best thing I've ever had here in Vegas and it's much cheaper than some of the places I've been, so a win win in my book. If you like BBQ and are ok with little hole in the wall places you'll love it here.

This barbecue spot was recommended by one of our Lyft/Uber drivers while we were in Las Vegas. Hands down, this is the best barbecue I've ever had. I had some loaded fries. They were waffle fries smothered with mac and cheese, beef brisket, link sausage, and sauce. This was the ish, I couldn't eat it all. The serving size of the loaded fries could easily feed two or three people unless you're greedy 😀!!! I was skeptical at first because I don't like barbecue like that, but this was finger licking good. Prices reflect the amount of food you get, so I don't feel they are too expensive. My only complaint was the family in there while we were eating had some bad a$? kids. One of the little girls had the audacity to put her foot on our table, took everything in me not to smack it down. Other than that, excellent little hole in the wall spot!!!

What a fantastic BBQ! You would never notice it, sitting in an industrial strip mall location. Low key decor... And superlative BBQ. Huge portions... Pulled pork and brisket to die for. Attentive staff. The God Sauce is a great sauce. Aptly named. Highest recommendation.

Read so much about this place and knew I had to hit it up. Ordered a pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw on it. Also got the butter corn, Mac and cheese and baked beans. The pulled pork sandwich was super moist and the coleslaw just added a nice crunchy texture that went well with the pork. The sauce was definitely a hit, super flavorful. The butter corn was nice and crunchy with a dash of pepper. Definitely the star of the show. The Mac and cheese was just like Kraft Deluxe, nothing super outstanding about it. The baked beans had some brown sugar and pepper to them. Again nothing super special. I would say if you’re coming, try some other sides.

Came here a couple of days ago specifically to get the Fortress, but ran out of the spare ribs. Which I get for a BBQ place, the later you come the less options you'll have. So came back for lunch a few days later AND we got to try the Fortess!!!!! A little hole I the wall BBQ place that have very limited parking & very limited seating. You might have to go around the block several times till a parking spot opens up. About 6-7 tables for the whole joint. The locals know the set up & the majority are to go orders. This place always seems to be busy. Order at the counter, fountain sodas vs cans (YES!!!) Seating available for small & medium groups. Back to the Fortress. Wow it is so impressive being delivered to the table!!! A crown of spare ribs filled the fries, mac & cheese, choice of meat and topped with a hot link & sauce. We chose the brisket as our meat. Out of all the meats me had starting with my personal most favorite was brisket, hot link then ribs. 5/5 for presentations 4/5 brisket 4/5 hot link 3/5 short ribs

I've had some good barbecue before, but this is by far the best I've ever had!!!!. All of the meats are juicy, tender, and flavorful. The BBQ mashed potatoes are amazing, the butter corn is tasty, and the baked beans are okay!!! I highly recommend this place if you looking for some delicious barbecue!!!

Excellent Authentic bbq, and fast service. No BS made to order, they have what they have and no grill to order. 2 meat sampler had large pulled pork portion. Tasty table side sauces. The spicy Cole saw has a kick to it. And the corn off the cob is excellent. The meat fell off the bone. Close to the Las Vegas airport. The corn comes with a smoked, salted butter. No desserts. Free drink refills. Good for game days as well. You can smell the real bbq blocks away.

It's a small restaurant with limited seating, but they definitely deliver a big bite!!! Four of us went there for lunch and we all enjoyed the ribs, brisket, hot links, and baked beans. The smoked flavor was not overwhelming and the ribs and brisket were perfectly seasoned; and both were very tender! The reason I'm not given 5 stars is because their mac & cheese was grainy - it's like the cheese separated or it was reheated in the microwave. Their coleslaw was dry (how does that happen)??? We were not impressed with their potato salad. The meal does not come with bread. I've never been to a bbq joint that doesn't serve bread with their food. When I requested the bread, the girl said it was $1 a slice. We ordered two slices. When she brought it to our out table I think she wanted me to pay on the spot while I was eating. I told her we would pay before we leave. When I went to pay for the bread, a different girl at the register told me not to worry about it. Great meat products and I will definitely go back on my next trip to Las Vegas.

𝕋𝕙𝕖 𝕗𝕠𝕠𝕕 𝕚𝕤 𝕣𝕖𝕒𝕝𝕝𝕪 𝔸𝕄𝔸ℤ𝕀ℕ𝔾 𝕙𝕖𝕣𝕖!! We ordered the maniac fries (with sausage & chicken) & a 3-meat combo (smoked chicken, brisket, & ribs). The combo was 𝕓𝕖𝕪𝕠𝕟𝕕 𝕗𝕒𝕟𝕥𝕒𝕤𝕥𝕚𝕔!!! Meats were cooked to perfection & so delicious😋😋😋 . Brisket is in a class by itself- THE BEST I'VE EVER HAD! The maniac fries are 𝕋𝕆 👏🏾𝔻𝕀𝔼 👏🏾𝔽𝕆ℝ 👏🏾!! I just had one small problem- the chopped chicken that was on the fries had too much fat. After almost every bite, I had to spit that disgusting🤢 chicken fat out!! Our server was a very nice young lady who offered to bring me more fries but I declined because the fries tasted so good I couldn't stop eating 🤣🤣🤣 This is the reason for 4 stars. Also, I wouldn't order the Mac n cheese as a side dish, but it was a perfect compliment to the maniac fries! Aside from that, the food deserves 10 stars!! Portions were texas-sized! Large enough to share ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. The Alabama white sauce & the #GOD sauce are AMAZING! The restaurant is very small but who cares when the food is THAT good! This will be my pay day take-out spot! When I return I will order the same thing & update my review accordingly. ❤
