Great luncheon specials. This oyster bar offers $7.95 luncheon specials Monday – Thursday from opening until 4PM. My wife chose shrimp jambalaya while pasta primavera with shrimp was my dining destination. Each of the dishes were very fresh tasting and a return engagement is promised.
Great Oyster Bar. I eat here frequently. The crab legs are always cooked to perfection and the seafood diavolo is to die for. By far the best oyster bar somewhat off the strip. I have eaten at many of the Station casinos and they have nothing on this place. Fast service, friendly staff.
Great little restaurant. Loved the crab leg special. Good fries and enjoyed the creamy flavor of the crab cake sandwich.
Great Lunches. The South Point Casino thinks it's on The Strip, and prices accordingly. That being understood, the Big Sur seems to knock it out of the park every time they prepare a meal for me. The soups are excellent, the portions of the lunch items is really quite amazing. Yet, the food is so good, you just keep eating... If there is any one complaint, it is just that you will need a nap after eating it all. And, you WILL eat it all...

Great overall experience, the service Yoshi provided for swift and exceptional and hostess was great. The deep fried oyster where a great first experience and delightful great size . The shrimp Caesar salad was flavorful and the shrimp was on the salad was seared perfectly. The fish and chips was breaded lightly and perfect fish to batter ratio. The condiments were James were ample and given without request. The chefs were well groom and clean and professional
My wife and I eat here once a month to have Calamari and a Cup of Clam Chowder. The wait time has never exceeded 5 minutes. The food is always fresh. The staff is very attentive and friendly. They recently put in new seating which are way more comfortable than the seats that were there before.
The first time I went was probably 6 months ago and I told myself I would never go back. Today, I decided I would try it again and man, it was a completely different experience. Head Chef John, serves up some really great food and will give you a small spoon to taste, if you want to try something he is serving up. I will say this, I have had lobster grilled cheese sandwiches from the east to the west and hands down, his are by far the best. The shrimp cocktail is served up with huge shrimp, cocktail sauce and a lemon. The tempura shirmp is huge and smells like something from a fair and brings back childhood memories. Needless to say, our meal was delightful and delicious. The serving staff is very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu options, but Kwan goes above and beyond as a server and friendly face! I'm definitely glad I gave it a second try!

I liked half the food. Streamed mussels, clam chowder soup and complimentary bread roll was awesome! My Seafood Diavolo was ok. The pasta was a little soggy and sauce was ok . But, I will still come back because I feel like it depends what items we get and our waiter was very nice and helpful.
Very fresh large oysters flown in from New Orleans! Happy hour from 11- 4pm daily with half off raw oysters and clams. We got the happy hour dozen raw oysters. They were very fresh and tender, just like earlier this year when we had them in New Orleans. Very fast and friendly service. There was no line at 1pm. This is now our go to place for raw oysters in Vegas.
We were seated very quickly. The service was very nice, our server was at the top of his game. We had some oysters Rockefeller, Blue Point on the 1/2 shell, and Diavolo. Everything was well prepared, well presented, and delicious.
What is there for Motorcycle auction. After eating their first night eat lunch and dinner there for the next three days. Seth at counter enjoyed watching the chefs work. Everything we had was fresh and hot.
Big Sur Oyster Bar at the South Point Casino was so unexpected but absolutely worth the experience. Why was it unexpected you may ask? It was the great Cajun food that they cooked up fast and fresh. The bar was packed and busy, but I got my food incredibly fast! The jambalaya and seafood diablo were outstanding as they were both rich in flavor and brought some great heat (I love spicy foods). By the way, if you get Beth as your server, you must have done something right in life...Beth is awesome!
Best crab legs we have ever had!!! We got to spend more time enjoying the delicious meat versus working to get to the meat. The shrimp scampi also a keeper!
I have no idea why this place isn't rated higher. It is a great little spot for oysters, shrimp, crab legs and gumbo.
We spontaneously hit it up last night as part of a bowling date night at the South Point, and we were very pleasantly surprised at how good it was.
I've gotten oysters from all over the world, and these stacked up well with any of them.
It is true that they don't boil the crustaceans in spices or anything, but you can dip them in butter, and enjoy them.
Staff was great. Mark was showing us different dishes as they were ordered which all looked delicious, and Lorena was very helpful while serving us.
Ordered the seafood Diavolo, friend had the linguini with clams, both were excellent, good portion size, I like how I was able to adjust the spiciness of my dish, lots of seafood and the extra parmesan cheese was a hit, love coming here when I'm in Vegas. Service was also excellent.
I had gumbo. It is very tasteful and only slightly spicy. Plenty of shrimp and sausage. The rue is a bit thick and the rice was gummy. I would order again without the rice.
Great atmosphere inside the casino hotel. Late night until 1am. Great early afternoon specials until 4pm. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Food was generous portion and very tasteful.
If I could give Vincent 10 stars I would!! Incredible service! The clam chowder is so delicious. Fabulous fish and chips! Highly recommend eating here!
