Conveniently located inside the Grand Hotel and Casino. The Freedom Beat is simply great. And you better go hungry because the portions are huge. It not I suggest that you share lol. The Philly Cheese steak is amazing among with other sandwiches as well. And the loaded Fries are outstanding and so good. You definitely won't leave hungry from Freedom Beat that's for sure lol. Fairly good Beer selection also, with other fancy drinks available.

I had lunch here during my stay at the Downtown Grand hotel. Very good and attentive service, although the waitress looked disappointed when I ordered the chicken noodle soup and hesitated about ordering anything else, and no alcohol. I ended up ordering a sandwich, too, and she looked kinda relieved. šŸ¤” Well, the chicken noodle soup was quite bland. I saw onions and celery, no other veggies. The broth could benefit from more ingredients. The pot roast sandwich is a whole other story. It was amazing! I was full of soup and couldn't finish it entirely, so I just scraped the meat with my fork to taste more of it. This dish is worth ordering again.

What a nice surprise to find this little joint in our hotel. We hit it up for a quick lunch and were absolutely thrilled with the food. We ordered the pot roast sandwich, the pastrami burger, wings and cheese curds. Four of us shared these plates and we were stuffed! First, a signature dish is the pot roast sandwich. We had never had anything like this before and it was mouth watering and delicious! The savory sandwich is piled with pot roast and melted cheese on perfectly toasted sourdough bread. Served with fries and a side of the gravy for dipping. You just have to try this! Perfectly seasoned and just melt in your mouth pot roast with crunchy bread. So, so good! Now, I don’t know what to say about the cheese curds but ā€˜may I have another?’ They were like crack and I couldn’t get enough! Soft and tender cheese fried in literally the lightest batter I’ve ever had. Crunchy like tempura and super light. It was so hard to stop eating them! Dip them in some ranch and they were the most perfect snack. The pastrami burger was also delicious. Piled high with pastrami on top of a burger patty and a soft bun. Cooked to perfection and quick to satisfy your hunger, it’s a solid choice. I didn’t try the wings (I couldn’t eat another bite), but my husband said they were delicious. They were a good sized portion and cooked beautifully. The atmosphere here is music themed, with a stage hosting live bands on the weekends and possibly the evenings if I heard that correctly. The booths are roomy and have musical instrument cases between them. It’s just a nice vibe in there and a pleasant dining experience. The service was great and the food was excellent - just a nice little hidden gem right there in the Downtown Grand.

We found this place while playing at the 1$ blackjack table in the Downtown Grand. The food was amazing and the server was so sweet. The price was great too, hard to find a breakfast for 2 in Vegas for 35$. I had the FREEDOM BEAT-B-QUE SANDWICH and added on the TOTS. She had the AMERICAN BREAKFAST.

Freedom Beat is a great restaurant in the Downtown Grand Hotel. They’re famous for the pot roast sandwich. Never in my life did I think I’d ever order a pot roast sandwich but here, it’s the move to make! Other notable dishes are the fried pickles and the wings!

The food was great and prices were remarkably low for downtown Vegas. My wife and I were both pleased with our choices. She had the American Breakfast and I had the steak and eggs. The lady serving us was overloaded with too many tables. Even on a Saturday morning there was no waiting for a table. I’ll go back to the place again.

Always a Great place to eat late at night. Especially after gambling. Open late on Friday and Saturday. Live music if you decide to eat during the Brunch hours. Hydrate.

We ate breakfast here I had pancakes and my wife had chicken and waffles and also what I enjoyed they had live entertainment there. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. This restaurant is located inside the Downtown Grand Hotel. Also in the mornings they have bottomless mimosas.

I was so impressed with the quality of the food, the portion sizes & the price. I had the Philly, the BLT-Club & the Grilled Chicken sandwiches. Every single one was EXCELLENT! The staff is friendly & accommodating. I was pleasantly surprised by this good restaurant located inside my hotel. I definitely recommend eating here & will definitely be back again when visiting! šŸ’›

Bottomless mimosa brunch? Yes please. Freedom Beat was an amazing experience. We had a reservation for 3 for a Saturday brunch that promised bottomless mimosas, live music, and good food, and we were not disappointed. We went to the hostess stand to check in and it took a little time but we were seated in a booth with a good view of the stage. We were handed menus and we waited for our waitress. Of course we started out with 3 waters and bottomless mimosas. My dad ordered the Freedom Beat American Breakfast with bacon, scrambled eggs and wheat toast. I ordered my Freedom Beat American Breakfast with vegan sausage, scrambled eggs, and fruit (there was an upcharge for fruit which I didn't realize), and my sister ordered the Vegan Skillet. As we waited for our food we enjoyed our mimosas, conversation, and the live music by one singer, who was pretty amazing and had us in a nice vibe. Our food was brought out fairly quick and we were ready to dig in. Unfortunately, the food lacked seasoning and we had to load up on the salt and pepper but after that we were able to enjoy our meal. Overall food was meh, mimosas were delicious, live music was amazing, decor was music related, and the time we spent together was priceless. I definitely recommend giving their brunch a try. Enjoy your mimosas and listen to some live music. Also to note, although the mimosas are bottomless, you have to ask for your next round and your cup has to be at least half empty. Freedom Beat is located inside the Downtown Grand Hotel and Casino.

Friendly atmosphere, nice wait staff, with good food. We came on a weekday, so it was very busy. Although the food was good, it felt like the menu was a little limited. If I was in Vegas for the weekend I would definitely want to come here and try their brunch menu. Great bloody Mary.

Little strange to have to order lunch at the end of the bar behind a covid partition, while trying to get the attention of the busy bartender who's pouring drinks. Had the pastrami sandwich with an upgrade to onion rings. Onion rings were great. The batter was light and tasty and the dipping sauce was excellent. The sandwich however was a bit underwhelming. I hope to be back and check out their breakfast items at a later date.

10.17.2021 If you are looking for a late night meal or snack this place is the one to go too. They are open and servi g food u til 2am. Atmosphere is very nice and comfortable. Great menu as well. We came here several times and each time food was pretty good and came out super fast. Now don't get me wrong. It's not some fine di ing experience and for the fact that food comes out super fast I have to say it's pretty decent eating here. They also have a full bar. Pricing is also not too expensive. Staff is also ok. Nothing to fancy or friendly here but definitely right on point. I recommend coming coming here.

We stopped in for a drink as a nightcap. Eli was tending bar and he was fantastic. Really easy to talk to, very attentive. There was a drunk customer that kept trying to lie about what they ordered and were talking trash on Eli to the other customers and Eli kept his cool and handled the situation well. It was kind of weird that they didn't seem to have any wine glasses. It was served in plastic cups. It seemed like they had rock glasses, but I didn't see any other sort of glassware from where we were sitting at the bar.

Had brunch at this restaurant located in the hotel I was staying at. After the horrific experience in the Chicago Brewing Company the night before I was hoping to have a better meal. My expectations were exceeded at this restaurant. The waitress welcomed us instantly with menus and water. Very friendly and the food came out quickly. I ordered the pot roast benedict and it was DELICIOUS. I would happily eat here again.

Limited breakfast menu, it was good. I just had the basic breakfast with cocktails. The service was excellent with a nice ambiance. Was worth the walkover based on other reviews.
