Reviews Mgm Grand Buffet

The MGM Buffet has pretty much everything you'd want in a breakfast buffet. They have a turkey and ham carving station with grilles vegetables and chicken wings then they go into the eggs, hash towns, bacon and sausage. Further down you have your chicken fried steak, biscuits and gravy and a tator tots and bacon hash. There's an omelet station then they have seafood, a large dessert section and drink section. So, selection-wise it's covered. I will say, if you want coffee, maybe stop at the Starbucks on the way to the buffet that's about 100 yards away. Not great coffee. The drink machines use a QR code reader, which is nice, but I can't imagine a lot of older people understanding that. The flow gets jammed up at the omelet station because that's right next to the plates so you have to walk through that station where everyone is waiting, twice sometimes. If that was moved the to the end it may give it a free flow. Right now use your MGM rewards card and get 15% off. Overall, I'm full and heading to the airport so I don't have to pay their crazy prices.

Great selection. The wait was not horrible. Great gentleman who helped clear plates and instructed us where everything was located. Not the best buffet I've ever had, but I'd go back!

I don’t normally rate places like buffets and after reading the reviews I was prepared for a disaster. Imagine my surprise when all the food was fresh, the brisket was delicious, and the staff courteous and nice. Perhaps it’s because it’s the weekend, or there was a special Christmas selection out, but I had none of the issues stated by other guests. I am sure their experiences were valid, but I would gamble on a good experience here. Hopefully you have as nice a meal as I did.

My only meal of the next 24 hours as i fast for hawaii. What food ..what spread.. truly world cuisine. And it aint the food thats good. It's the people At the entrance there are three ladies helping you get in..they take ownership and apologise whatever pain you are going through. They care and get you the best deal There is this chef at the corner space which has the roast chicken its the best in the world. Then there is joey who is from ny and so wears a cap in the desert, these new yorkers i tell you.. so i gave him my lovely texan hat to save him from the sun .. he makes the best omelette in the world by miles. He is with a lady who ensures that both of them feed the hungry souls and look out for each other. He is lucky he has someone at workplace. Then there is the lady who is cleaning the mountains of plates with half wasted food . I tell her i am eating for all the hungry people in vegas and he smiles and says you have a good heart.. then every night they pack up the food and it goes to the hungry homeless people from another organization hungry pigs or something.. ( which is not appropriate unless i am missing something) The coffee is good and people who eat here are happy. And guess what it's not the ingredients or the infra..its us people who make places 100 star rating..so be good to each other man..

MGM Grand buffet is a good buffet with a variety of items. One thing I did not like was the placement of the plates. It was located in the middle of the buffet. It wasn’t a big deal but sort of an inconvenience. I enjoyed the cheese ravioli and shrimp. This buffet seemed to have more Italian food. The pizza was also better that most buffet pizza. My partner enjoyed the pork chop and gravy with vegetables. We would return when back in Vegas.

The food was amazing & I had a little of everything. However, need better rules for kids, as they were everywhere. It was 11 adults & 3 kids & we didn't let them go to the buffet without any adult accompanying them.

The food quality of the buffet was exceptional & the staff extremely helpful. Certainly this is up there with the best buffets I’ve had in Las Vegas. I’d suggest they don’t leave their bacon sitting so long though, it was disappointing! Dry, brown, not edible. They really need to keep track of the shrimp too. Also, ketchup should be more easily attainable. Hopefully these small issues will now resolve. Other than this everything was fresh & it was worth the price for Sunday brunch compared to other buffets - not all, but most!

When we first arrived, the line was pretty long. But, it went pretty fast. However, that line was just to pay. Then we got in another line to enter the buffet. That line went pretty slow. After we finally got in and got our table, I went over to get some bacon, but there was about twenty or twenty-five people in that line. So, I gave up at that point. I was actually pretty disappointed. That's a lot of waiting in line! However, my server sensed my disappointment and asked me if there's something she could do to help me. I'm not sure if it was because I am disabled, or she was just being nice, either way, that really changed my attitude. She grabbed me a large handful of bacon, and asked me if there's anything else she could get me, which she did after I requested a few other things. Overall, the food was average, nothing spectacularly great. They did have some peel and eat shrimp, mussels and clams which I did not expect. A carving station had some roast beef and turkey. Otherwise, pretty much anything you would see at any other brunch buffet was there. I'm so glad that we got extra special service by Jonnah! Only three stars, if not for the superb service we received...
