I went to this wine bar because it was recommended to us. This place is unique in the sense that it’s most bar seating. It’s set in a little strip mall and is quite the diamond in the rough. Food was elevated, the wine was delicious, the service was amazing. The chef came and talked to us. We got complimentary food. The whole experience was worth the slightly pricey total on the check. I would recommend to anyone looking for a dining experience. The blood sausage was my favorite dish! A must order!

Noble and luxurious Spanish (mixed Japanese) wine bar in china town. La Asada, the steak, is pretty soft and juicy; masticating the soft meat and mushrooms together like angles touch softly to your sensitive tongue through a feather. The lobster bisque is pretty strong that like a seafood tsunami “fresh” into your month. With the side champagne making these two tasty meal have a good collaboration. I pretty enjoy sitting in the back area that you could see the chef cook in front of you and smell the lovely flavor from a variety of dishes. Although the price is much higher than the restaurant around the china town, I think it is definitely worth it to spend your Friday night there!

I've only been once, but itching to go back. If you go, I would recommend sitting at the chef's table. it's always fun watching experts work. If you go on different nights you see the chef's rotating through desserts the grill etc. It was a very interesting French Asian mix. The general manager/owner came and visited with us and gave us his card to plan a large dinner there as well. Wine list is good, I think on Sunday nights the wine list is half price. Great value for dollar

Such a great restaurant and team! We celebrated our 7th Anniversary at Mordeo and thoroughly enjoyed it. We loved the Spanish wine selection and of course the jamón iberico. The Spanish rosé went wonderfully with it. For salads we had the beet garden and caesar, both fresh and delicious! The cauliflower bisque was nice and rich. The salmon roe really added a nice Briny touch. And then the lamb cooked to perfection with a kabocha squash puree. The Spanish grenacha played really well with it - super Ruby fruit and didn't over power the dish. Yum! The only thing is that the food was fired all at once so everything came out at the same time. In Spain usually meals take a couple hours lol but other than that we'll just order a few at a time next visit 😊 everyone was super nice and the service was great!

What a gem. Superb food paired with excellent wine. Really loved the place. To me the seafood was the best on the menu. Not the cheapest but definitely worth it!

Exquisite is the best word to describe Mordeo. From the moment we walked in we were welcomed with smiles by the hostess. Our bar seats allowed us the perfect view into the kitchen and allowed us to check out everything that was happening at the restaurant. Our server Renee was beautiful, charismatic, knowledgeable and friendly. We had the opportunity to have Luis, one of the owners, introduce himself to us and strike pleasant conversation. All this and I haven't even told you about the decor. Trendy, tres chic, upscale casual and sexy all the way around from the bar counter to the lighting, music selection, wine selection, restrooms and most importantly presentation of the food. Attention to detail is NOT something Mordeo is lacking anywhere. Our meal consisted of Vieira Con Iberico, Papas Bravas, Soy Mirin Pulpo, La Asada, Caramel Flan, Croissant Bread Pudding all paired with Taken Cabernet. Do yourself a favor experience Mordeo for yourself...you will not regret it.

Loved this place, small plate, tapas sort of, very modern interior, the blue floor was wierd but it worked. We had lunch. The service was great, our waiter knew everything about every dish. The empenadas were light and perfectly tender melt in your mouth perfection.., and the 3 sauces were almost unneccessary delicious distractions. Everything we had was executed perfectly. The Albondingas tender and moist, the skewers expertly and painstakingly assembled and grilled. Had the burger too, with a truffle aioli, carmelized onions, they surgically disected it into thirds for us to share, the beef was so juicy and tender it almost went down by osmosis, chewing seemed like too violent an act. And the super thin togarashi dusted potato chips that accompanied it were again, another ridiculously well executed item in a long list of perfection. Dessert was the Affogatta with thin, lite and moist churros. Why there wasnt a line out the door baffles me. It is pretty new i think. Dinner hours maybe another matter. The wine list wasnt explored but i had 2 hard Kombuchas, from June Shine that were really good. Id love to get them to sell in my restaurant. You better go there before you have to wait in line to get in.

One of the best dining experiences I have ever had. Make sure you sit by the bar and try your best not to order everything you see being made.

We visited Mordeo Boutique Wine Bar for the first time during lunch today. The food was amazing(Croissant Bread Putting pictures below)!!! They also had a great wine selection for any taste. The only downside about lunch was that currently you can only buy a 3 course meal. While the limited choices should provide something for everyone, it would be nice to be able to choose a-la-cart like you can for dinner.

This place is incredible. The ambiance is lovely, the staff is amazing. We sat at the bar top overlooking the open kitchen, and the chefs were attentive and always made sure we enjoyed everything--which we did. Every single item we ordered was impressive. The manager was great as well! Just come and eat, you won't regret it.
