We order foods to go but someone welcoming us with tea and their famous salted egg bun. She made our day. So blessed with her kindness. One more love count for our journey to the west. Xie xie
Visited Xmas Eve; medium crowd. White table clothes and real dishes and steel wear. Our server did not speak English, we used Google Translation app to order. The Food was excellent and well presented. Service is very slow. The Tea is loose and very tasty.
We had the Chicken Fried Rice, very good with white meat of chicken.
Beef with Rice noodles was fair.
My Annual Visit. I come to Chang's once every year, during a week in Las Vegas for work. That dinner is the highlight of my week. The place is large, but rarely crowded. The food taks a little while to come to plate, which only tells me that they really are making it for ME. An off menu item that I always ask for is pea pod leaves cooked in a garlic butter. Excellent dish to put in the middle of the table and share. I haven't had a bad meal yet, and I have been going for years.
Simply delicious.. If you are Canadian and living in Toronto or Vancouver know what authentic Hong Kong dim sum is all about, then you definitely need pay a visit to this place. Why bet $25 on the back jack table and you could buy many delicious dim sum dishes with that green chip. Now I have another reason to vacation in Las Vegas.
Chopsticks and cups of tea. This is as authentic as it gets! Dim sum here taste fresh and the flavors are just as I remember it from Hong Kong. Chang's is comparable to some of the better dim sum places in New York. I am in love with their 'dou fu fa"- a traditional warm, sweet and soft tofu dessert that just melts in your mouth spoon after spoon. There are plenty of choices for the meat lovers, the vegetarians and children who love all that crispy fried goodness! Great place for brunch-- bring the whole family! But I must warn you, it can get pretty loud when people are all full, satisfied and chirping happily with family and friends!
Best Place for Dim Sum. Almost everyday when we are in vegas we go to this place for Dim Sum.
Went here for dim sum today. We got about seven items. I tried jellyfish for the first time and liked it quite a bit. The other top picks were the eggplant wrapped around shrimp and the whole fried shrimp. The only thing I didn't care for was a pork stuffed nest-looking thing which had a weird consistency.
Real deal chinese food and dim sum. Been here two days in a row!
Good prices. The locals place for Dim Sum.
Authentic Dim Sum, that the hotels try but can't copy. This place is all by itself, far away from Chinatown where you think it should be. You can't miss the building, it's roof line is difinitive of a Chinese building, topped with green tiles, so it really stands out.
We came right during opening, so all the food was super fresh and hot. Offerings were very similar to other dim sum places. Portions did seem a little smaller, but prices seemed lower too. 7 of us came in starving, had drinks, and left for about $75 with tip. Just amazing.
Described by someone I trust as the best Dim Sum in our little patch of the desert it was with high hopes that myself and three others sat down just after 11:30am at Chang’s Hong Kong Cuisine and although the Saturday Cart traffic pattern would frequently prove frustrating throughout the course of our 90 minute meal it was nonetheless with broad
Several years ago, we were on our way to Chang's to meet my parents for dim sum, and my car broke down. I remember that day, because it was also a day of record breaking heat. 117 degress, stranded on Decatur. Not fun. Ever since then, I've wanted to atte
We ordered dim sum from the cart that came by. Items are 5+ different prices and priced by group. The sever team put a rubber stamps on a check that was left at the table in a row according to the group of the item we ordered and added it all up at the end.
We had 7 different dishes and hot tea for 2 people. The total came to 45 without the check.
The tea was great and the atmosphere was relaxing.
My favorite brunch place! The food is made fresh, the carts are filled up regularly with fresh steamed dim sum.
Covid-19, the business hours are 10am-3pm daily, this includes dine-in and take out. Dining area has been rearranged for social distance, all staff wears masks and gloves. Tables have disposable covers changed between each sitting, along with disposable tableware.
Steamed Rolled Noodles (Cheung Funn) is made to order, kitchen will roll it fresh when with the meat option.
Shumai, always juicy. The skin wrapping is very thin, makes it even better.
Steamed Tendon, very tender and full of flavor. I love the slight hint of spice they add.
Steamed Spare Ribs, nice and tender, falls off the bone. Traditional black bean spare ribs.
Pork Buns, fluffy and soft, with lots of BBQ Pork inside. Unlike other places where you barely have any filling, the ones here are FULL OF MEAT.
Excellent food! Best in Vegas! Prices are fair as well and the food did not take forever! Definitely a new favorite.. Wasnt a big fan of the soups. But the french dices beef, the shrimp fried rice, sesame seed chicken was delicious!
Not the prettiest place, but I promise the Dim Sum was effin delicious. Shui Mai game was good, could be better. Mushroom shrimp is excellent, Har Gow was the best I've had, spare ribs are great, not tender enough, tripe was clean and super delicious. I just wish it was cut thinner. This place is authentic as you can get. Great nice staff. The teapot leaks so you know its going to be good. Everything was fresh. All the standard Dim sum menu. I wish i could eat more. By far, my favorite around Vegas
The food was good, one of the better dim sum restaurants I've been to in Vegas. The service was okay. The ladies that pushed around the cart were nice, but it was a little difficult to flag other help down for a box or the check.
Authentic cantonese food, outside of Chinatown. Business is slow, but service is good. I think they even offer free transportation pick up if you want to dine in. New owner is very friendly, she gave us complementary dessert.
The price is good, and the environment is elegant. We always seem to come here and it always tastes so gosh darn good! Reserved rooms are perfect for family-style parties with a clear TV screen and some loud speakers. Next time when we seeking a place for celebrating someone's birthday, this is the spot we'll be going to.
PS: The server I would give 5 stars to. She was handling the registers, cleaning, and service like a pro!
Good portions, fresh food and attentive service. In search of healthy I got the poached fish with "American broccoli". Also had fried rice, barbecued pork and potstickers. Everything was very good.
I was a little bit skeptical about going inside just judging by the curb appeal I'm glad I did food was amazing staff was welcoming I will definitely be bk
The food is well made and delicious but the service could use some work. It took them 3 people just to figure out what we are ordering. We stayed patient and said it as clearly as possible but it’s not a huge problem considering the food.
This was our first time going to Changs. We got there a little after 10am which is when they opened so it was not busy at all. We got seated right away and the waiter came over right away and got us water and hot tea. Then the rolling food cart came over to the table with a few of the items of the menu . Other items we wanted we had to order and then they brought them out later. We got plenty to eat and the waiter was very nice. All the employees were nice and brought things we asked for . However the food that was not on the cart came way later and we didn't get to eat them so we had to take them to go. We got a second round of hot tea with a little sweet treat it was good. The closer it got to 11am it started getting really busy. So worth it going earlier on a weekend.
A very friendly staff and great service. The dim sum is very tasty. I would like to go back there soon.
Chang's Hong Kong Cuisine is one of the best local spots for Dim Sum! All that and Dim Sum :)
I honestly don't know the names of the dishes I really like but it's the baked pork buns, calamari and egg tarts that always has me coming back. I can describe the other dishes that are tasty but I'm trying something different each time I go. The carts come around throughout dining room and it's always nice to see your food or ask for whatever you're looking for. They will also heat up a dish if it's too cold.
Try Chang's for Dim Sum and if you go on a weekend prepare to possibly wait for a table. This experience is all about the food since the service is really only delivering food, clearing plates and filling water or tea. The service I always get is consistent and never had any issues.
Not much to say really...Las Vegas' 25% occupancy jus kicked in today so def try to come here as early as you can. I can see why they've been around for a while. Food's great! I mean what else can you really say...they have a great variety and everything tasted amazing! Might be my go to dim sum spot! A+++
Nice. Something light. OMG never had chicken feet. Tasted ok. My brother loved it. Love all the other delicacies
Ohh, huge. It was delicious, clean and very friendly staff . The waitress spoke Chinese, English and Spanish. Thanks all. 🥰🥰
Nice Hong Kong style dim sum restaurant, reasonably priced, many varieties of dim sum. It has large parking space as well.
