I absolutely enjoyed the steak and adobados tacos. Prices were reasonable and service was quick! I also tried pork belly and chorizo. Liked the pork belly not as much for the chorizo
Nestled in a converted gas station near a Denny's, this restaurant is easily spotted from the road. When you walk in you're greeted by 3 different lines for various meat types and at each station you can order those meats as a taco, quesadilla, vampiro, etc.
The place was busy, and my timing was a
First time at the North Las Vegas location (we usually eat at the Charleston spot) and we found it as good as our old favorite. We had Tacos Adovada, a Vampiro Adovada, and a Sope Chorizo, all delicious. Like many others, we think the ordering system is unwieldy and inefficient, but we put up with i
Service was 10/10 very nice and polite from everyone. Taste was definitely a 10/10 from the first bite you can taste the flavor of their fresh man tortillas, the very tasteful meat, and their sauce. The nopales that they serve with a tortilla bien tostatita with their fresh guacamole ohhh my goodnes
Al Pastor was the best I've ever had.
I've been a street taco enthusiast ever since living in Mexico for 2.5 years, and the Al Pastor Mulas at Tacos El Gordo are the best tacos I've ever had. Seriously, they're that good. My family makes it a point to stop here every time we pass through Vegas, and I've even converted many of my friends
First time here all I can say is belly up to the counter the food was awesome
Nothing hidden about this place but there’s a reason why! Amazing tacos for a really fair price. This location is further from the strip but still had a big crowd, however it was really fast and easy to navigate. You can tell everything is fresh and authentic before you even take the first bite. As much as I wanted to try a different Vegas restaurant, I knew I just had to have Tacos El Gordo again. I settled for trying a different location. This place is funky. It appears to be in an old gas station. Parking is hodgepodge, including all around the old pumps. The building is quirky and old,
The steak fries were delicious and had a smokey flavor. The tacos were ok I'd recommend getting the steak tacos over pork.
I can understand the hype!
I'm from DE and came to Vegas for business. One of my goals was to eat here. I came during the lunch rush 😩..... as a first time customer, ordering was confusing. There are separate lines for your desired protein. I recommend getting al pastor first. Then whatever you want
These tacos are AMAZING.. I would definitely come back..
Solid Tacos. Lots of option to choose from. Fresh tortillas. Flavorful meats. This is more of a “fast food” taco spot. Fast and priced right. Plenty of parking. Restaurant is a old gas station.
Seriously delicious tacos. I was sad that they were out of Sesos tacos, as I really wanted to try them, but the Adobada, Cabeza and Lengua tacos were off the charts. The tortillas were warm and oily, so good! The meats were succulent and perfectly seasoned. Love the bright, acidic red sauce included
