Decided not to cook for Thanksgiving and hit the buffet this year. It was well worth it!Line to get in wasn't too bad. Our waiter was great. Food was pretty good. The wait staff did a great job replenishing the empty dishes on the buffet line. Choices were excellent, turkey, ham and prime rib and of course the regular dishes.
Went for the Seafood Buffet tonight and was extremely satisfied. The selection was delicious and my son LOVED the dessert choices. Service was amazing and friendly, made me feel at home and added to the experience. You could tell everything was well managed and ran smoothly. Also, make sure to get a margarita. My mango margarita was delicious and very strong. Can't wait to return for more!
Good selection of food for breakfast and the help is very accommodating. Or dessert the donuts are absolutely excellent I don't know where you got them but they are delicious. The only change I would ever make at your Buffet would be to put up a drink station where you could get your own coffee tea milk soda whatever would save a lot of time and new be sure of having a drink as soon as you got your meal. The girls are so busy sometimes I'm almost done with my breakfast before I get my drink.
Great experience for lunch today. There were four of us so we took advantage of our 2 for 1 coupons. Server was very friendly and attentive. Food was the perfect temperature (have been to other buffets where food was lukewarm). Our guests enjoyed their lunch as well.
The food is really good. The person on the grill was not at his or her station for a good 15 min. People were mad as they could not get their short order items. It also to a good deal of time to get our drink orders. I do have to say that their military Monday deal is good. Buy one get one. You do have to sign up for the rewards card to get the deal. For some reason my rewards card will not give me the discount so I have to go to the member desk and they give me a discount slip.
Great breakfast. Dinner wasn't as good. This rating is for the breakfast which was very good. Nice assortment of breakfast foods, made to order omelets and plenty of coffee. Servers were very attentive and always ensured we had coffee and water. Different juices were also available. All in all one of the better breakfasts in the area.
Great selection. Got seated quickly and food tenders/chefs were attentive to volume and movement. Buffet was well kept, clean, and vacuumed. 2 recommendations... 1) CRAB LEGS! This happens to be a personal favorite of mine and i would recommend just an overall seafood station. This goes for all station casinos. 2) ROTATION. I was in this vacinity for a week and visited 4 station casinos and saw all of the same thing all 4 days. A larger variety would be nice on a weekly basis.
My original review was posted approx. 7 months ago. It was the first buffet I had tried and I gave it 4 stars. I have now tried other buffets and feel that I need to amend my original post. This is by far my favorite buffet. The breakfast is amazing and the dinner carvery keeps serving me meat (especially the turkey) that keeps me going back time after time. The staff are very friendly and I always feel like I get excellent value for money. I have been to other casinos (some on the strip), waited crazy amounts of time for a table only to get medeocre offerings. I love afternoons out to go to the Santa Fe movie theatre followed by the buffet dinner. Definitely worthy of the 5 stars!
We were there for the breakfast buffet. Restaurant was clean and spacious. Employees at the buffet line and servers were very friendly and accommodating. The myriad selections of food should satisfy everyone's palate. I especially liked the omelettes -- the chef made it to order and it was very fresh and tasty!
Great Buffet sign up for Rewards Card and get a Discount. Good place for lunch.
The problem I encountered were no outlets for laptops and charging in the buffet.
Also, After eating for awhile the smell of smoke, old cigarette smoke gets on your nose and clothes.
I showered when I got home immediately.
But, what do you expect from a Station Casino.
We enjoyed a tasty dinner at the feast buffet at the Santa Fe Casino yesterday on seafood night. There were four in our party. The salmon and coconut shrimp were fabulous. I also had the delicious shrimp cocktail, sauteed mushrooms, sushi and corn on the cob. I had a few salad bar items and topped dinner off with two scoops of chocolate ice cream. The best thing was that my wife's meal was free with the coupon that we received in the mail, so that the total cost of the two meals was less than $20.
The wait is worth it. They have Thanksgiving & Christmas say celebrations.you You can always dine with the whole family. Clean fresh and quality. From crab legs to New York & prime rib. ALL you eat. Theycarec@ all Station Casinos around the city for decades and they will Not disappoint. If you like buffets these are a must try.
