Our first visit and it was amazing! We ordered the seafood platter and fried chicken platter! Everything was cooked to perfection! The catfish, fried okra, potato salad and the corn bread was the absolute best! I can't wait to go back to try the liver and onions!

The food was great. I would recommend this place to everyone that visits Las Vegas if you are looking for a home cooked meal.

This food was absolutely delicious. My wife ordered the fried chicken (spices were amazing)10/10, French Fries (well seasoned) 9/10, Mac and Cheese (very flavorful) 9/10, and the rice and gravy (could use more favor, take some from the chicken) 7/10. I ordered the fried catfish (again slices were amazing) 10/10, greens (wow) 10/10, cabbage (delicious) 9/10. Overall a great experience here. Unfortunately they had already sold out of Ox Tail for the day, next time.

I had the catfish dinner with rice and gravy, collards, potato salad and corn bread. Absolutely DELICIOUS! My mom had the dark chicken with yams, string beans and potato salad. All dinners come with 3 sides and a fried piece of corn bread. Everything tasted ssssooo GGGOODDD!! I'm convinced you can't go wrong with any dish here. The 2 young ladies at the front gave great service! I also liked the pictures on the wall of celebrities that have visited here.

First time here since the pandemic and it didn't dissapoint. The catfish, cornbread, chicken & ribs were on point. Love the way they do catfish. Everything was excellent and we got there as soon as it opened so they weren't packed yet. You can now use Cashapp instead of the cash only policy before.

I ordered smothered chicken wings, Mac n cheese and cabbage.....everything was was piping hot. I would have rather had my wings fried well well done (my preference) but the flavor of everything was a 10. The following day (you know leftovers taste even better) you could taste the salt (now that was a bit tooooo much for me bc I like to watch my sodium intake but for others, that would have been perfect. Basically, this is a must eat spot. I will be going back to try the oxtails and other sides.

This place was absolutely fabulous. The service was friendly, the cook was on point, the menu had the soul food I was craving ... Everything was great. Good for breakfast lunch or dinner. I had the fried chicken lunch with black eyed peas and mac n cheese. Our meal started with a hot corncake and melted butter. My chicken was freshly prepared and my sides were delicious and perfect. I had a "sugar daddy" to drink. I was so full I didn't have room for dessert but I will be back to try what else they have. My honey got the chicken and waffles, served with maple syrup. People of Las Vegas the locals and visitors should really support this place. Best of all not on the strip, a good meal without all the chaos. 5stars!

This is my 2nd time in LVNV. This place is a gem for sure. The food and service were both EXCELLENT. Place was very clean for those of you like me who care. I don't eat meat, but I don't mind if my veggies or beans are cooked in the meat, as long as the meat is not chopped up in the veggie/beans. I had greens, yams, blackeyes and red beans and rice. I'm here to tell you, the food was MMMM MMMM EXCELLENTE. I mean each one was JUUST right. Washed it down with....wait for it.... Red Koolaid....SWEET. The way it's supposed to be. As always, can't comment on the fried chicken or the fish. Sorry my carnivorous brethren and sistrin. My very strong recommendation is that if you get anywhere within 2 hrs drive of this place, drive yo *## HERE They open 11am 7 days a week. Last order 8pm. Sometimes they'll shut down at 730 if it's real slow. Best to call if you're coming at 730 or later. For my fellow truckers, it's in a plaza. You should be able to bring the trailer in the back of the plaza. I was bob tailing so no prob. PS I saw a review that said cash or Cashapp. They do plastic too. Always good to have cash in case internet goes dowm. It happens. I was in Arizona last year and the internet was down across the whole northern part of the state, and I got caught with no cash. Always have some cash y'all.
