Happened upon this place because another restaurant we wanted to go had a 1.5 hour wait. This place really reminded me of being in Mexico, in a good way. There were 4 of us, and all agreed that the food was outstanding. We ordered beers and had lots of chips and salsa, service was great, a band walked around and played the whole time, was a fun atmosphere. We ordered, carnitas burrito, Carne asada burrito, cooked fish, and giant shrimp civiche. Food was great! I will definitely be back.

I ordered a burrito, which tasted good but they only had hot salsa, no other choice...so I couldn't enjoy my food with a nice salsa😔

Long time customer. The spot to be for a good Brunch/ Lunch/ Dinner. Excellent food, and ambiance. Service is a bit slow during busy times. But acceptable because of the fact. Will gladly recommend to all.

I'm from Boyle heights in LA and new to Vegas and well you can't get as good as Boyle heights and east la when it comes to Mexican food in the U.S. but this place impressed me! I got the ranchero molcajete and 2 plain carne asada tacos for my son. The tacos were loaded with meat you could have made two extra tacos and only 3.50 each on the big tortilla not street style one. He ate it all leaving the plate empty meaning there was no hard chewy fats which he always leaves behind. And I loved the molcajete had so much meat I had enough to take home for later we also had 3 sodas and in total with the tip paid $57! I've spent almost as much for less food at places that aren't even restaurants and here we got pure meat as the main courses. I'll definitely be coming back!

This place was 🔥. My go to before was Eldorado Cantina but this is just delicious, authentic, finger licking good with huge portions and chill atmosphere. I’m a noob for never having been here before. Definitely The new spot

I came here on the recommendations of a friend. Portion sizes are amazing for the molcajetes. Service was a little slow but it may have been due to some issues they were having in the restaurant (appeared to be a leak in the ceiling). The aguachiles molcajete was spicy but delicious. The ranchero molcajete came with so much meat and the sauce was still simmering when it was brought to the table! It also came with handmade tortillas. Next time I go back i will be sharing a molcajete instead of getting my own.

I'm giving 4 stars due to having to flag down a waitress to place an order, many vendors coming in to sell merch (I just wanna eat & so did everyone else), no list of what the food comes with (just pictures so we were constantly asking the waitress "what comes in that")and no margaritas, even though they were on the menu 😑
When we got our food, the waitress kept stopping by to ask if our food was good...3 times, but when we were done, no one came around so we had to flag them down for our check.
I had the Guerrero molcajete which has 3 different styles of shrimp, fried fish, cheese and avocado. I couldn't tell you what my hubs had because I was so in love with my dish...I never stopped eating! That dish was worth the price...flavor, amount & quality were all on point!
Our appetizer was, essentially, a shrimp quesadilla, in a corn tortilla with an amazing chipotle sauce.
Since there were no ritas, I opted for the bud light grapefruit seltzer that gave a great refreshing finish to my seafood. They were only serving micheladas or non alcohol drinks.
We enjoyed the food here and prices are reasonable so we have no problem making the drive from SW part of the city to here!

Good food and good atmosphere. Very good service as well. The bonus to eating here is they have live music, it's a bit loud for my taste, but it's nice to have. We got there at 230 PM and it was almost full. By the time we left, there was a line outside.

Best Mexican Food I have ever had at a restaurant! Found this on Zomato before we ever arrived in Vegas and just knew I had to try it. The food was outstanding, and the servers were very nice (even though she didn't speak any English!) The mariachi band showed up as we were leaving. If you want Real Authentic Mexican Food, this is IT!

Fantastic restaurant for Mexican food! Originally recipes handed down from many generations. The salsa is the best I've ever had and the service was great. Highly recommend this place to anybody looking to satisfy a Mexican food craving. Los Molcajetes is a rare special gem indeed.

Awsome!!!. The Molcajetes was the best I have ever had, the Mariachi hit the spot, and everything went down smooth with a wonderful Michelada!

Did this place just loose their liquor license? They don't serve beer or margaritas (first for a Mexican joint), despite the fact there are alcohol signs everywhere. But the food is pretty good.

Highly recommended. 09/20 visit: this small family-owned restaurant, situated in a working class neighborhood, serves authentic Mexican fare. We were served warm tortilla chips and a watery, but spicy salsa. Based on my extensive pre trip research we started off by sharing a very good burrito with pork in a green chili sauce. We also shared a unique creation served in and named after the 3-legged stone tool, molcajete, used in Mexico to grind chilies and spices. This artfully presented dish included, in our case, a combination of beef, chicken, shrimp, nopales (cactus), scallions and slices of avocado in a rich red sauce and served with flour tortillas. You grab a forkful of anything or everything, place on a warm tortilla, fold and enjoy. It proved be very tasty, but more than we could finish. As we waited for our check, I remarked that we probably were among only a handful of tourists who have ever dined here. Hearing this, one of the guys at an adjoining table turned around and remarked that he was from Brooklyn. 3.5 Forks out of a possible 5.

Saw the reviews online and thought we'd check it out. The part of town it's in is fine, and we were 3 goofy gringos from Nellis. Great chicken molcajetes!

This is place isn't located on best part of town but it is rather unique and the food is great. Try the giant Molcajete with your choice of meat. Remember they ONLY accept cash.

I think we've officially found our favorite Mexican restaurant here in Vegas! This place is extremely authentic, and the food is AMAZING… at least the dishes we ordered were. It's located in NE Las Vegas, not exactly in the best part of town. It's a tiny
