UPDATE: After my initial visit, this place left such a lasting impression that I wanted to visit again and try something else on the menu. I stopped in and tried the House Etouffée (picture added). I ordered it at a 5-heat level (scale of 1-10) and it came out perfect. Although this entrée was magnificent, I will most likely go back to the gumbo because I'm a huge fan of okra! Or maybe I'll just order the Etouffée with okra next time? Who knows...still highly recommend this place to everyone! I've never been a fan of going to a restaurant that is always busy because nine times out of ten, you're going to wait a while to get seated. I've been coming to Santa Fe Station for years, along with other Station properties and have been wanting to try this place for a while, but since it's always busy and the fact that I'm an impatient person, I never wanted to wait around to try it - plus, I get "hangry" symptoms often. The opportunity to try this restaurant for the first time for my wife and I had finally arrived (spur of the moment during late hours, in the middle of a work week). The restaurant wasn't busy at all (that one out of ten moment) so we were able to get seated right away. One of the biggest downfall to this restaurant, along with other restaurants located in a casino, is dealing with the smell of cigarette/cigar smoke in the air while you're eating. Although, a lot of people probably don't mind that, I'm not a fan of it. And yes, I am fully aware that I am eating inside a casino, but I am also aware that there are other restaurants in this city that don't have the same issue and are also located inside a casino. We ended up ordering the 1/2 Dozen Gulf Oysters on the Half Shell, Warm Sourdough Bread Basket and Butter, Cup of New England Clam Chowder, House Gumbo, and Lobster Pan Roast. Everything was cooked to perfection! I especially enjoyed my entrée (House Gumbo), the flavor profile was impeccable and the spice level (6/10) was perfect. I was a little concerned on having to purchase a bread basket considering most places provide that complimentary. However, when you consider the price of it, it definitely doesn't break the bank. Plus, most people spend that $1.99 on unnecessary things so people shouldn't complain all that much. And if you're a gambler, you really have no room to complain. The service provided by our server, Ruth, along with the staff on shift (cleaning tables, cooking, etc.) were phenomenal. Additionally, the price-to-quantity/quality ratio was adequate...definitely can't complain about the prices considering inflation and what you would pay on the strip. If you haven't been here yet, I highly recommend you visit soon!

This place was bomb! So good! There is plenty of seating area right off the casino floor. I ordered the day's special Voodoo Pasta, and my friend ordered the Shrimp Pan Roast. All the food was amazing. I definitely plan to make this a weekly visit. Lastly, you got to wash everything down with a bloody mary oyster shooter! Cheers!

**Visited here in early June** No crowds, good food and service. Went early on a weekday for lunch. Came here for the seafood pan roast and wasnt disapointed. Came with a scoop of rice but the waitress said to add the sourdough bread so you can soak up the soup too. Good tip👍A little out of the way but worth it.

Very nice experience. Located in the Sante Fe Hotel, Las Vegas, NV. The food was well prepared, delicious with generous portions. We ordered the fish & chips and jumbo battered shrimp; both were delicious. The staff was exceptional and attentive. It was a little pricey but well worth it.

This place is awesome. The best part is no waiting in long lines like at Palace Station. Combo pan fry is a must try. Oysters are shucked fresh.

Very good atmosphere & service. Price relatively reasonable. I ordered Gumbo, spice level 4! But, it is a bit too spicy for me. I would recommend 2😁

My husband and I decided to try this spot out for the first time. My mother in law recommended it. We love seafood so why not right? We ordered a half dozen oysters on the half shell and a lobster, crab and shrimp boil. It was my husband's first time trying the oysters on a half shell so I was extremely nervous and praying he doesn't hate them. Lol. They have a person in front of you hand cutting open the oysters so I know this is going to taste fresh and amazing. We got the oysters and we added alittle hot sauce on them and slurp it on down. It's like ocean in my mouth like when you were at a beach and got knocked down by a wave and the taste of ocean is left in your mouth lol. You will either love oysters or hate them. Thank God my husband loved them and so do I. These were really good and you won't be disappointed. I should've ordered a dozen. The boil wasn't what I was expecting but it was really good too. It comes as a creamy base soup with chunks of shrimp, crab and lobster. I wasn't disappointed. Our server was great and attentive. We will definitely be going back. Great oyster bar. Definitely try it out.

My aunt made reservations here and our large party got seated right away. I like this location more than the other one because of the brighter lighting, more tv's and seating for larger parties. Between all of the pan roasts we ordered the combo, lobster and the Sante Fe. I personally loved the lobster the most because the portions were very generous. The lobster meat was as big as my spoon and you get plenty. We also ordered the bouillabaisse, oysters, and some fish and chips. The oysters here were delish and the perfect brininess. I love the drink menu here. We had Blood Marys, Bellinis, sangrias and some beers. Prices here are really reasonable considering how much food you get. I was able to eat all of my pan roast, but they do have some large containers to pack your leftovers. This is a great place to enjoy some qualify seafood. The location is spotless and the staff is so friendly. This is an off the strip local gem. If you don't mind a quick 20 minute drive from the strip this is the perfect seafood spot!

Same as the Oyster Bar in Palace Station. People will wait hours to eat at the palace station location when they can easily go to this location. I guess most people either don’t know about this place, or they don’t have the transportation to get to Santa Fe. Either way, if you don’t like the hours of wait and have a way to get there, go to this one. It’s the same as Palace Station! !

This is definitely one of the best oyster bars in Vegas. It's my favorite, mostly because of the people. The food is always amazing as well. It is not the biggest place, so there oftentimes is a wait. Emily is the best server there and can really make a drink, if you're so inclined to have one, and has been there since the beginning. Corey has been there since the beginning as well and will really take care of you. The servings are big, the prices are comparable to other oyster bars, and its conveniently located if you're in the northwest.

We originally went to the Palace Station because of Reviews, it was a 2 hour wait. No sitting. So we left immediately . We went to Santa Fe Station. I am extremely happy I did. The customer service is top notch. The food was so good we ordered some to go. Also its only 15 minutes from my house. We will definitely be back. Kat was our waitress. She was so friendly and extremely professional. She brought our bread right away, 5 minutes later our DELICIOUS New England Clam Chowder (ordered 2 Bowl sizes to go), and within 15 minutes we had our Pan Roast. I highly recommend the Combo. I will be back.

Good dishes, small dining area, so it fills up fast. We sat at the bar. I had the gumbo, I will have to tey the oysters next time since it is a oyster bar.
