It was an okay experience. I’m looking at different grocery stores to see which ones I like best with the best experience and product. I really like the organic choices here in produce and the fresh sliced bread options. There is hot food and chilled salad bar with a strong assortment. The service was mostly great. They looked like they were doing inventory while the store was open… which I found counter productive. It should be done before or after store hours. The one inventory takers were not friendly or helpful at all. You got the feeling they wanted you out of the space. The cashier was also kind of a bummer. She was an older woman and clearly not happy. I feel bad though… maybe someone called out or she was working too many hours. She was not enjoying herself.
Overall, the experience wasn’t terrible. If I want to get hot food or a salad bar- this is a great spot. Oh- honorable mention to the seafood and meat department. They seemed really helpful. Even though I didn’t have involved interaction with them. They nodded to me and acknowledged my presence. The bakery was also kind with the other counter people. Just the cashier had zero personality- no kind words or any words at all. She was polite and quiet- and threw the groceries down… like the packet of spices and boxes… she may be unaware of the action or was mad? Hard to tell. This one is moving though- next to Trader Joe’s off Sahara. So I’m looking forward to the new location.
I had a great time shopping here today. I’m rarely on this side of town, so I had to stop. Lots oh great stuff. Oh, and their espresso was amazing. Thank you!
If you wanna talk about peace and tranquility visit the spot on any random day of the week, there’s no one there. It was absolutely amazing you could hear your own heartbeat. It was a great place to escape the stresses of life and it was only 30 minutes outside of the city, I would highly recommend it if you’re driving by or you’re on the way to the ghost town.
I would not recommend this place in the middle of the summer as you’d probably be cooked. There is no shade from the sun, but on a beautiful October afternoon it was perfect just the right amount of warmth. you could literally see, for Miles untouched by man. If you’re looking for a little escape, go, check it out.
I can’t believe at one point it was a bustling little fishing dock with tons of boats and water activities that was completely gone due to flood you can still visualize where everything was
I always loved the employees at Whole Foods! But I went recently to check out the mini desserts for my wedding and the cashier was incredibly rude and mean not only to my fiance and I, but also to her fellow co-workers. I wish her all the best though, because she's probably going through something very difficult in her personal life for her to treat others that way. We need to be compassionate of others.
Anyway, I'm still giving 5 stars because everyone else who worked at the bakery were extremely helpful and sweet (pun intended) so don't want to punish them for her. Our favorite treats were the raspberry cheesecake, fruit tart, and pecan tart (must-try!).
Very nice people who work there. Some cashier's are familiar with my face and acknowledge me, which is nice. Sometimes get a slice of pizza, really good when fresh. The food bar is back and somewhat still disappointing. Some of the food appears to look like it's been sitting there all day and not fresh. Same with the soups. The salad bar appears well kept. Prices are higher than average there. Used to have TV's with games or shows on to entertain the patrons who ate the tables upfront. Customer service is really good. Never had any issues there. I've been going there for about 5 years. 5/21/22. Back to normal as far as the open food bar, pizza, and salad bar. Still the usual friendly service! Would like to see more cashiers working. Those lines get annoyingly long after 5 pm and no cashiers. 11.18.23- There are now about 6 self check out lines. Would rather see people working, not machines. Really friendly people working there. Good products as well. Clean, too.
I am a frequent Whole Foods shopper. I don’t usually eat sweets but as of late Whole Foods has been carrying slices of carrot cake that have been the most delightful and delicious. Upon arriving to the bakery I noticed that it was completely out of stock. I was greeted by a very friendly employee Kay. She asked if I needed help finding anything and once I explained to her my situation she was most determined at seeing my satisfaction. She offered to track down the carrot cake in the back. To my delight she was able to get the item I wanted to purchase. Great job Kay! Whole Foods management is in your future.
This is a typical whole foods with all the selections and offerings for the whole family.
I don't frequent this area a lot but the few times I have been at this store I have been pleased. Large selection of fresh produce, organic as well. Was able to always find anything I needed in that section. You can also drop your amazon returns here which is nice feature if you happen to need one sent through the self kiosk. The frozen and refrigerated sections have a smaller selection, but if you are flexible on brand, you can find most everything, I wasn't able to get frozen California blend veggies, so I just bought fresh and cooked them and they came out great. The other side of the store has a huge selection of fresh meals, coffee, bakery, sushi and much more. If you are looking for a ready meal, or prepacked meal for later, there are many options especially for those on the go. Staff was always polite and helpful. Will return
This is the only place I could find the unsalted farmer cheese. The Whole Food Market brand 365 has a big variation of the good quality items.💗
I think this was my first visit and I arrived within an hour of closing. It was so peaceful. I was surprised that they served food! They had some cool items. I bought a gift card and the cashier gave me the cutest card holder: a mini Whole Foods shopping bag!
