Cool little spot on the outskirts of China town. The owner was friendly and funny. She stayed and chatted with me at the table. She had a dry sarcastic sense of humor which becomes very apparent with the signs on the wall. Food was excellent. I tried their oxtail pho. Super tender meat, fresh basil

If you want REAL Pho and personal service, this is the place to go. This restaurant has been rated 5 stars and the famous chef Emeril visits here often. Most of the food is made fresh, so even after you are placed at a table you may be waiting a little bit. However, it is all worth the wait.
Best Pho broth on the planet. Far better than anywhere in south Vietnam.

Pho 87 is one of those small restaurants that has amazing tasting food but when your there you just wonder how the hell they are still in business. I've searched for good pho all over the valley. I went through Yelp and i couldn't believe how bad the top reviewed phos were. Then I found this place and my search was over. Best pho I ever had. Prices are definitely high and it's so worth it. My boyfriend thought he didn't like pho until I had him
Food was excellent! Staff very friendly! The price was a little higher than I'm used to paying for Pho but once the food came I could see why. Quality ingredients.
