BBQ expertly prepared with attention to detail. Courteous friendly and knowledgeable staff. Ownership takes pride in the establishment and it shows in the clean bright dining room and pleasant, breezy outdoor seating. Well appointed and tended bar with fat service. If you are cruising by on I-80, this is a great way to break the monotony of a long trip and traffic. WELL DONE "HAZE SMOKEHOUSE"! KUDOS!!!

First time I have ever ate here. I definitely wasn't disappointed at all. The restaurant has a great atmosphere, the food was on point and the service was great. They also have a bar when you walk in. Although I didn't drink I think that's always a plus. I highly recommend haze smoke house. I definitely will have to go there again sometime soon. Considering I eat out alot I'm surprised I haven't been here before.

Great food! Great service. We split the sampler and had a hard time finishing it. Tried the "Painkiller" drink. It was awesome! Glad we tried the place.

Wow! This place is a real gem! The ribs were as good as I have ever had. Top quality sides. Candied bacon for the appetizer was wonderful. White sangria was amazingly refreshing. We got the peanut butter pie to go, because we just couldn't eat anymore. Savannah, our server, was a real pro, and very pleasant to talk to. If you are anywhere near La Salle you don't want to miss this place. The BEST BBQ experience that we have had in a long time.

We are local residents of the Illinois Valley and visit Haze Smokehouse a couple time each year. Haze never misses the mark on the food they provide. Flavorful and served by wonderful staff. We had dinner with friends at Haze this past weekend and absolutely loved my entree of Salmon. The others at our table had smoked brisket, smoked pulled pork and smoked chicken. I overheard only one of the guys say the portion was smaller than expected. Never the less...these wonderful people still deserve five stars from our table.

My friend put me on to this place when we were in the area and I didn't think much of it at first. The food was amazing and our waitress was very nice! The food portions were big and more than enough. Would most definitely recommend for BBQ lovers 🥓🍖

Food was delicious and the service was top notch!

My family and I came in for lunch on a Saturday. Waitress was very nice and attentive. Food was good but the wait for food was ridiculously long being there was only two other tables there waiting. I've read in recent reviews it's hit and miss on service and wait times.

Excellent! We ventured off from the Starved Rock lodge just a short 15 minutes drive down a curvy and winding road. Haze is so good. A great atmosphere for family and friends. And the food was so good we are going to bring friends back for lunch tomorrow. I had the BBQ Salmon with deep fried kale and sides of mac n cheese and sweet potato tots- to die for! My husband had the Sampler- omg! So much food for such a great price! The sausage is spicey good and the rest was all meat heaven on a plate! The BBQ sauces were good too - this ain't no Sweet baby Ray's. Try it! You won't be disappointed!

Love this place!!!!! The food is awesome!!! The pulled pork is the best I e ever had and with all the selections of sauces just makes it amazing!! Our server Kim was great! Very friendly and just made the experience even better. Highly recommend it!

It's our new go to place. BBQ everything, please. Seriously, a grilled romaine! And top that baby with candied bacon, then call it Cesar! Yikes! Or have a burger topped with smoked meat, and more smoked meat, and more smoked meat. Wait. Then add some candied bacon. Ok. And... Then... Take some Kale, and fry it!!!!! Best way to eat Kale.

This place is amazing! My dad is visiting from Georgia so he knows good smoked/bbq food. He said he would come back here just to eat at Haze. Good music great food great customer service. Highly recommend the Bama nachos and the brisket.

We rolled into town not knowing where to eat and found this gem! Haze Smokehouse is fantastic! Upon entering we immediately noticed how clean it was. Next we were greeted by Josh behind the bar with a great big smile. It was a warm and welcoming feeling. We started with REAL rib tips. My boyfriend ordered the sampler plate for dinner and was NOT disappointed! An unbelievable amount of food and every morsel was delicious! I had the pulled pork Sammie piled HIGH! We definitely needed a to go box. Haze has a wonderful assortment of delicious sauces to try along side of each bite. Yummy cornbread too. Don't let me forget about the peanut butter pie for dessert, pure bliss. Awesome blues music playing, full service bar, large outdoor patio too. BBQ, bourbon and blues says it all. This place comes highly recommended

This place is amazing to me because I love bbq and there lemon drop martini is outstanding. I recommend the Bamma nachos, it’s a taste like nothing I have had before . �

Ryan and Josh were outstanding with their service and with recommending things to do in the area on our vacation. They provided us a map and great locations to visit. The food was also spectacular, arrived quickly to our table, and came in large servings. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

You have to try the brisket bama nachos. I get them every time I am there. The staff is amazing and I've never had a bad experience eating here. My favorite place to eat!

Had the nachos and fried green tomatoes- AMAZING! Disappointed that I was not hungier, because the beef rib and brisket look great. Service was excellent- attentive, helpful and friendly. Will definitely come back whenever we are in the area! If around Lasalle-don't miss this great place!

Absolutely delicious! We had the sampler platter and wood fired ribeye and a bourbon flight. Servers were friendly and attentive. Atmosphere was comfy and fun. We will definitely be.back!

My wife and I travel around the Midwest quite a bit and eat a lot of barbecue whenever were in a different city or town . We had the sampler platter and the sausage the chicken the baked beans were good the coleslaw was average and quite honestly the brisket the pulled pork and the ribs were dried out and it didn't even look appetizing at all and they didn't taste very good. When we said something to the waitress of course we're halfway done because we started with the sausage and the chicken she went to get the manager who happened not to be there at the time. She said there wasn't anything she could do but offer us something else to eat well didn't want anything else to eat That waitress should have been empowered to give some kind of discount or some something for a dissatisfied customer. Not a good experience.

Gem of a restaurant! Owner is really cool~Great staff~Food was delish! Amazing Blues acts every weekend~ Can't say enough about this place. So glad we stumbled upon it! We will return!
