Great food and great service. Had the Parisian Eggs Benedict. Very good. I definitely recommend this place.

Decided to try something new last night, so we stopped by the Country House. Menu has so many different choices. The food was delicious, very home style cooking. Service was great as well, waitress was very friendly and on top of everything.
The food is beyond excellent-it is "fantastic". We have not had a bad thing to eat-whether for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Jose' and the staff do a marvelous job-you won't be disappointed!!!!
My hun got the Malibu & I got dbl Cheeseburger with mozzarella cheese & fried egg on top. Delicious indeed. I highly recommend this place 2 anyone! After seeing what Jamie Corrigan Bromenschenkel said, I had 2 check it out.
I've never had a bad meal here. The staff is friendly and attentive and the menu offers great value.
I've ate here a handful of times. I have never been disappointed with the service, food or prices. Everything I have ordered from here was delicious and always on point. I've never had any order messed up and they have great waitresses. One of my favorite places to go for breakfast with family or friends. The breakfast skillets are always on point and my favorite thing to order.
Breakfast was delicious. Waitress was friendly and attentive. Eggs cooked perfectly as ordered, one over-easy, one over-medium, one over-well. Biscuits and gravy were amazing, the biscuits were light and fluffy. Definitely would stop here again if I'm passing through the area. Well worth the detour.
This place is absolutely amazing. Huge menu, great prices, fantastic staff. I literally have to tell my boyfriend that we cannot eat here two days in a row, otherwise we would be here every day. I have never had anything that is bad here. Soups are amazing (I love the asparagus.) The best item I’ve had is the London broil which is a special they occasionally have. Simply incredible! Love this place.
Very busy place that accommodated our group of 16. It was my first time to eat there and I see why my friends in the LP area love to meet and eat there. Large selection of food to please everyone's appetite. I had the swiss mushroom burger which was very tasty. Ine if the men had a huge waffle the looked fantastic. The only drawback was,more parking was needed as it seemed to be a day everyone wanted to meet there! Staff was very helpful,friendly ,prompt and aimed to please!
Very good place to go to eat. Service and food are very good. Nice friendly atmosphere. Waitress are very polite and friendly. Strongly recommend going there.
Good service and great food. The cinnamon roll French toast was delightful and more than I could finish. Don't let the outside appearance keep you away...the dining area is modern and clean. The ladies' room is quite dated but clean.
Never had a bad meal here. I've tried almost everything on the menu.The wait staff know what they are doing. Very friendly and right on top of service. Soups are amazing, always! We fight who gets the last roll that they bring out 😁 Of course we can ask for more but this is a compliment to the chef lol. Prices and portions are exactly why we love this restaurant.
Our family of 15 were staying near Starved Rock and found this restaurant online. We had a great experience. The food was great and our waitress, Bree, was second to none. We look forward to going back when we're in the area!
