First time eating at a Smithfields I think. The place was full and the line to order was half way across the building. It didn't take long to order though. We sat down, and they brought our plates to us. I got the dark meat chicken plate. Dark meat is an upcharge, btw. Everything was really goo

Super efficient crew serving juicy fried chicken and not your normal fast food sides. This place has hush puppies and potato salad as just some of the sides. (And the tea is great)
As we were leaving, a crew member was wheeling out a catering order and the BBQ looked amazing.

The young man working the lobby made sure that you didn't need anything and made sure to keep your drinks filled.
We ate there on our way home from the beach on Labor Day. The service was THE BEST! Everyone we came in contact with had a smile, was welcoming, eager to help/serve and was kind. Unfortunately this kind of service is no longer the norm these days. Thankful for such a fantastic experience!
Always friendly. Great BBQ sandwiches. Clean atmosphere. Price not bad. Kid friendly too. It’s our halfway stop from the beach to Kannapolis NC. Brunswick Stew is great also. Give it a try !!!
Great Carolina Bar-b-cue and Chicken
I grew up in Bennettsville , S.C. and now live in Las Vegas since 1991 . I came home to visit friends and family all over the Carolinas . I love all kinds of Bbq and tried many regions . For Pulled Pork it's got to be Carolina vinegar based .

This place was great for a pit stop on our way through town. I had never heard of it before but a billboard made it look good. We got the combination platter to try the pork BBQ & fried chicken, and both were very good. It was enough food for my wife & I to share for lunch. Their sauces, hushpuppies
Friendly service and place was very clean. Chicken was juicy but breading was a bit heavy and not seasoned enough for our taste.
Menu is also a bit limited to BBQ pork or fried chicken tenders and fries or hush puppies.

Wasn't sure what to expect other than chicken or bbq, but it was exactly what you would expect of you were looking for seasoned fried chicken and pulled pork bbq.
The chicken portions were exceptionally large and the seasoning was flavorful, but not overly salty. The skin and breading were crispy!
One of the best smithfields around. 100x better than the one in Lumberton. Food is fresh and hot. And they really give you your money's worth.

Everyone was so kind. The young man at the front gave my daughters balloons and made sure we had everything we needed. Food was great.
I don’t eat fried foods too much. But when I decide to eat fried chicken, I go to Smithfield’s Chicken. I love the taste. They are also rather polite.
