Stopped in for the first time this past Saturday for lunch with my mother. The menu had many items that caught my eye. However it was restaurant week and they had a three course special. We both ordered the soup for 1st course and it was good and hot. For 2nd course we both ordered the Scrod over Angel Hair pasta. It was delicious. 3rd course was desert which was tasty. Definitely going to stop by again. The restaurant was very busy and service was on point.
The Crabs Claw is a great spot. The Hammer family does it right, they make you feel at home and like a local... This place reminds me of ll the great neighborhood places you love and the crowd that makes you smile. The crab cakes are some of the best I ever had and always more delicious while drink one of over 100hundred different beers they carry from around the globe.... And the Staff is outstanding warm, engaged and quick love the Claw!
Popular restaurant with families. Also a large bar area frequented by locals and vacationers. Evening life entertainment. Seems like they strive to please everyone with a large menu with a wide price range and variety. I had a French dip roast beef sandwich and the wife had the fish tacos for lunch both were excellent along with the service.
My wife and I were just there for a St. Patrickβs lunch after the parade and were upstairs with Tom the bartender. He was excellent as was the service as it was hectic inside. Food was excellent including my corned beef sandwich and the crab dip (was delicious). Have been going to the Crabβs Claw for at least 38 years and have had many family celebrations there. Food always top notch.
Visiting Lavallette Beach with friends! The Crabs Claw was top on the list! Now I know why! Great service, great food and a great time!
They make one hell of martini , love the rest being set on side on the rocks, very nice touch. Food is fresh and so tasty, followed with a great staff fast and friendly π a must go if your in area.
I have enjoyed this fine establishment for about 40 years. Never disappointed always a friendly place to have great food and fine entertainment. Highly recommended.

First time here and first time hitting the Jersey Shore.!! Thanks to some local family Ann and Michelle for taking us to this AWESOME spot on the shore.!! We ordered some clams and oysters for appetizers. The seafood was AMAZING.!!π₯π€ We all ordered something different. I had the fish tacos FANTASTIC.!! π₯π€ My bro had the shrimp and lobster sauce with linguine.!! He said it was fire.!! His son had the seafood steam pot had all kinds of stuff in there clams, crab legs, corn, potatoes.!!! He said it was so good he actually drank the juice out of the pot.!! πππππ₯π€ That would definitely be a spot too hit again for sure.!!! The atmosphere was so cool, there was a guy in there playing acoustic guitar and singing.!! (He was AMAZING) The staff was very friendly our hostess name was Elizabeth she was AWESOME ππ€π₯ Thank you for taking care of us.!! And getting us to put on the bibs for a photo ππ€©ππ€©π.!!!!
Wonderful lunch. My hubby has been saying all day how perfect his lobster tails were. Pleasant staff and we bought 2 tee shirts. Great food for sure! Yellow fin tuna nachos were excellent and my Red Snapper filet was as big as the plate! Fresh n yummy!
Good food, friendly service.. We needed to change something on a menu to suit our diet restrictions. They were very accommodating... No problems... We were very happy. Nice fresh tasting seafood. Maple glazed salmon on cedar plank and the broiled seafood. Shrimp, scallops, clams and scrod..
Really nice restraunt wish they had more outside seating.. we ended up having to eat inside which was ok but would have preferred outside. Parking in the area can be tough thatbwhy I gave 4 stars. The lobster roll was great and my daughter had coconut shrimp which was delicious. We had friend calamari for appetizer that was just ok. Service was wonderful and lots of staff that was quick and efficient. Will definitely return.

We loved it! We had oysters and 2 entrees my daughter had the crab legs and I had the lobster raviolis, they were phenomenal. I would def recommend this restaurant. We had to wait a while but it is understandable taking into consideration the times! The service was great and our server was amazing. I would def be coming back next summer. Thank you for a great dinner to wrap up our vacation week.
Very comfortable atmosphere even though it was crowded, just didn't seem to be so. Live music was a bonus. Steak,stuffed shrimp and Ceasar salad was delicious. Waitress was great and drinks were very fairly priced. Definitely a place to try.
If I could give more stars I would. Absolutely fantastic. We had the tuna sandwich and Cajun chicken. The atmosphere and food were great. The only complaint was that you need to stand on your toes to reach the urinal.
