Review Capish! Pizza-ristorante - Le Roy

Delightful little Italian restaurant. After 3 other attempts to go to other restaurants we found were not open, we found capish. My daughter and I had a lovely dinner, as we looked around we realized every one knew every one. Our waitress was busy but she kept up with the supply and demand of all guests she was responsible for. I ordered the chicken fracise, my daughter the chicken fingers and fries. I had the soup of the day which was minestrone, it was delicious, home-made. Our food were generous portions and we took home leftovers.

There was 12 or so of us seated at a very nice table . Drinks served took our order, it can get loud in there, especially with 12 people and other diners. Waitress seemed a little bothered when bringing out our dinners...I know it can get crazy, but after dinner it felt like she was ready for us to leave..The look on her face and clearing the table, made me feel like our welcome was done..Not sure anyone else felt this..Just my opinion.Food was good . Might be back with smaller crowd...

Clean, beautiful restaurant with awesome floors, windows, walls, and decor. See through opening to kitchen was a great touch, kitchen was immaculate. Great place for family or a date. Nice atmosphere. Food was delicious and reasonably priced, staff was pleasant and attentive.

I was excited to try Capish. It had been on my radar for awhile. I thought the interior was pretty when we walked in. We had reservations as there was 14 of us. I had the special, Mushroom Risotto. It was so salty. I had 5 bites and couldn't eat anymore. The waitress never came around to ask how meals were. It was just as another review had said, "seemed like the waitress was bothered by us". I wasn't going to say anything or complain until the waitress cut me off mid sentence and walked away from me and ignored my request for dessert (which she was asking for). So on the back of my receipt I wrote some feedback... that the Risotto was salty, that the waitress didn't come back and then the waitress walked away from me. I had to leave to go to work and the waitress proceeded to tell other people in our party that I left a nasty note. Um nope. But I will not reccomend Capish at all unless they get staff who cares about their customers. I even left a tip, as everyone should. So her remarks to my party resulted in me leaving a review publicly and not just the private feedback.

Authentic Italian recipes, cozy inviting atmosphere. The food was amazing, the portions were generous and the prices were reasonable. A real Gem located in the middle of the town of Leroy, right on route 5, just east of route 19. The staff was very courteous and friendly too. We will definitely be going back!

Great new place. Atmosphere very pleasant well decorated. Received very qcold beer 😁 that was much needed. Hostess escorted us to our table and our server introduced herself and began our night almost immediately. Food was awesome. I had the Tuscan steak, others in our party enjoyed the veal parm and traditional pizza ... Food presentation and taste was off the charts. Great job and can't wait for our next visit!

Solid thin crust pizza, arancini, ceaser salad, and delicious cannolis! Environment is nice and service was great. Can't beat those lunch special prices!

Prices are high and service wasn't that good, nor was the food.. Problem might have been they had one waitress taking care of all the tables and she didn't keep details straight.

We ordered a gluten free pizza and a regular pizza tonight. We did NOT get a gluten free pizza. We called them back and we were told well it didn't say gluten free on the order. So the young man that took our order never wrote gluten free crust down. Which is very important when we ordered it for someone with celiac disease. The pizza was cold and the crust was not very good. We will not be going back.

My husband Jeff and I went tonight for dinner. This was our first time. We went with dear friends of ours The Whitings. We sat at the bar... had a glass of wine before dinner. The staff was super friendly... The owner Jim was so kind and welcoming. Our meal was outstanding!!!! We had 3 of there specialty pizzas... that we all shared .... the rice balls....and Reid had the veal parm.....that he could not finish because the portion was extremely generous!!!! We absolutely loved the whole experience and will definitely be back over and over again!!!!!

We have been now several times. The food has always been excellent. At their one year anniversary we got the chance to try many different foods. Every one was delicious. One time on a buffet they had an eggplant casserole. I don’t even like eggplant but it was delicious.

To start off the restaurant does not have a good setup having the waitress staff picking the food up where you walk in. I thought the service was subpar I know your new but that's why you train your staff before you open. The prices are a serious issue I've never paid 19.00$ for chicken parm even at the Red Osier. The owner just ignored us never asked how are dinner was. And if people don't like criticism then to bad the truth hurts. So if I get blocked like my wife did oh well. Looking forward to the Creekside.

Great place! Jimmy the owner is absolutely fabulous! We had a party of 6 and we all ordered different entrees, everyone was so happy with their food! I would highly recommend Capish to everyone.

I had a wonderful time at Capish! I ordered a pizza for dinner and ate the entire thing and I never eat a whole pizza! It was delicious! I would love to thank the Sicilian guy that made my pizza! I love the atmosphere and the staff are very friendly. I felt very comfortable and will definitely be returning!

My first time here, had the chicken parmigiano, it was fantastic! Although it was loud in there because of brick wall and tin ceiling, could hardly here the great music, but a beautiful and comfortable decor. The waitress was very good and friendly! All around, you will not be disappointed! Met the owner and he will make you feel at home and that you were friends forever. I will definitely be back! Great to have this place in Leroy!

The place looks great!! Friendly owner and staff! Ordered what one of the waitresses recommended, buffalo chicken pizza, which was excellent!! Will be back often :D

Our first time there tonight and I am in love! Please keep in mind that this is not a pizzeria, it is authentic Italian food and they do it to perfection. My husband said that the Italian Wedding Soup reminded him of his grandfathers. At first when I saw our pizza I was like ut oh since it was very thin but the crust was light and fluffy and tasted wonderful! The Cannolli cake has to be the most moist cake I have ever had! Although they were packed at 7:00 on a Friday night we got seated quickly and our food was served by a very friendly and helpful staff. I would recommend going here to anyone that doesn't want the same old same old Pizzeria scene and want to taste what italian pizza is meant to be eaten.

The service was good we were seated quickly. Waitress offered a bread basket which included 4 very thin slices of Italian bread. The bread would've been better if it had been served warm from the oven, but that's a minor thing. The kids both got kids pizzas and enjoyed them, my husband also ordered a create you own pizza which he was disappointed with. He asked for pepperoni and hot peppers as his toppings, when the pizza arrived there was one slice slice of pepperoni per slice of pizza and one pepper per two slices. The sauce had very little flavor and the cheese was sparse. I ordered the Salmon special, which he salmon was good the pasta needed more spice. We got desserts which was very good!

What a beautiful gem tucked in LeRoy! The food was wonderful and our kids loved watching them toss the pizza dough. The staff went above and beyond and we can't wait to come back!

My husband and I go there often. Every experience has been great - great food and very polite & friendly staff and owners. We have taken friends there, had family dinners there and an occassional date night. I would recommend it to anyone!! So happy to have this gem in LeRoy!!!

We had a late Saturday night dinner here that was wonderful! The arancini were delicious and I can't wait to go back and get them again. We had 2 "personal" brick oven pizzas which were very good and generously sized. We took home half of the pizza we ordered! My daughter had the lovely looking scallops & spinach appetizer and said they were very good. The prices were reasonable and the decor is very nice. We had a great chat with the owner Jim Frascati who is delightfully enthusiastic and happy to hear comments. This is not your ordinary pizza place. So happy to have this restaurant here. Can't wait to go back and try some other items!
