For being out in the middle of nowhere, the food is pretty awesome. We liked everything we ate and would definitely go back! Carne asada was great.

Been coming here for 10 years..... Yes it's quaint, and yes it's loud, but the food is good (their salsa and their charro beans are my favorites of ANYWHERE), the margaritas divine, and the staff is awesome. We feel like family there.

Thoroughly Enjoyed. My wife and I tried this place for the first time tonight (a Wednesday) around 6:30. We drove in from the south on 183 and when it was time to turn left into the Jardin Del Rey driveway, I noticed that to do so would put me in the turn lane for southbound traffic that wanted to turn left on Sonny. That traffic was moving pretty fast and I felt in danger of causing a head-on collision if I were to proceed into that turn lane. So I skipped the Jardin Del Rey driveway and continued down further and turned in at the auto parts place next door. Turns out that was the best decision anyway since the Jardin Del Rey lot was full and many of their customers were parked in the auto parts place parking lot. So, long story short: if you arrive at a busy meal time, just park in the auto parts parking lot.

The restaurant was very busy with kids hanging around outside and several people sitting in the heat on the front dining patio. We went on inside and were seated right away. Almost immediately our drink orders were taken and we were given chips and salsa, which were both outstanding. Our server was Laura, who was very sweet and extremely attentive.

I ordered the Chimichanga plate and my wife ordered the Chimichanga Jardin plate. Our food was served to us hot and our wait wasn't very long at all. Laura kept coming back to the table to make sure we were enjoying our meals and to offer drink refills. Like I said, she was very attentive.

And, speaking of drink refills, I noticed one reviewer said they fill the glasses full of ice and charge extra for refills. I didn't notice the amount of ice being unreasonable. The glasses for my soda and my wife's water were really quite large. The menu says you get one free refill. That's all I would ever need since the glasses are so big. I did get one refill, which I couldn't finish, and wasn't charged for it on my check, just as the menu clearly states. So this isn't a problem at all.

I noticed all the meals on the menu being very affordable. The total cost for our two meals, including my soda and tax, was about $20. For that reasonable price, we were treated very well by the staff and enjoyed a quickly-served, hot and enjoyable Mexican meal. We were very satisfied.

If there was any negative about this place I'd say it would be the loud atmosphere in that small dining room with families and many children having a big time. But even that wasn't very bad. ESPN was on a flat-screen on one wall showing a Major League Baseball game.

I'd like to come back sometime when the weather is cooler and the place isn't quite as busy, and maybe enjoy eating out on that front patio. But we'll probably be back well before the weather cools.

My family loves this place for dinner when we are in Leander. The staff is great, the prices are fair and now there's a secret tree house behind the restaurant. Seriously, there really is a tree house back there. My 2nd favorite dish is the chicken molé, but my favorite is the Steak Ranchero, but w/o the ranchero sauce. Instead a green tomatillo sauce. The flank steak with the freen sauce and a speinkling os monterey jack cheese.... OMG it is so freaking good!

Favorite! ( 4*). The chips and queso are the best I have had. I can't say the fajitas are the best, but they are good. The Chimichanga Jardine is awesome and so are the fajita quesadillas and the Papa Nachos. Many other things too. This is one of those places that if I haven't been there a while, I start to get antsy for it. It is like a small slow addiction. Many people say that. The place is always busy and noisy because everyone enjoys it!

- Many Many visits
- 4 stars because some of the food could use some spice. Also, it is so busy, that I wish it were bigger. However, there are 4 Jardine's: Liberty Hill, Leander, Cedar Park and North Austin. (there may be more)

I love this place. It gets very busy and quite loud, but it has great salsa, good friendly wait staff. Awesome top-shelf margaritas. Good food. Chile relleno, pollo endioblado are 2 of my favorites.

Delicious chicken soup! Enchiladas was great per my husband and I love the tortillas! Fish taco is nice and shrimp a little bit over cooked but overall good restaurant in Leander downtown!

This place was fresh! It’s not a fancy restaurant but it is homey and cozy. It will hit the spot if you’re looking for Tex mex. The meat tasted a little old/gamey. Not sure how else to describe it. Like it was sitting out for awhile. But nonetheless the fajitas were great! We got the app sampler too.

We went to Jardin del Rey a few weeks ago for my daughters birthday. They are related in some fashion to Jarin corona. The food is always great, the queso and salsa were on point. The wait staff was great, they never let the salsa or drinks run out. The staff also came out and sang Happy Birthday, fun night for sure

6 Stars. In business we can only choose two out of price, quality or time. Price is great, quality / quantity are greater, and time delivered was fast. Success in all. Sangria mixed well. Only disadvantage is eating too much. That is definitely my fault. No, actually the Chefs! Like the Mexican mom I never had just cooked for me.
