Had the huevos rancheros.. eggs and pork green chile verde ... it was awesome! The steel cots with fresh fruit and granola - delicious! So happy we have a breakfast/lunch spot!
Best Mexican food in the area with a good American breakfast mix. The street tacos are a must!!! Kid friendly and everyone was so nice. Definitely will be a weekly breakfast for us οΏ½ highly recommended coming! We are big foodies in our house so we have tried many other places and this is by far the best!
Service was super fast and friendly! Food is great, especially fresh baked biscuits! Very clean and inviting atmosphere. Will definitely be back!

Luis is a VERY good cook! He has a passion for cooking and it shows in his meals. He is a wonderfully friendly and funny guy, and I will absolutely be there this week to support him!

We've been here a few times and it's always been a good experience. The staff is friendly, the menus have a good variety, and the service has always been excellent. The pancakes and waffles seem to be made with the same batter and it's over-mixed which makes for a chewy cake/waffle; but the French toast has been very good
Great menu selection ! They even have eggs Benedict, breakfast fajitas, standard type breakfast and more.

My son wanted breakfast for lunch so we came here for our very first time. Everyone was very friendly. Food came out in a timely manner. My son really enjoyed his bacon, eggs, and potatoes. My meal was pretty good--however, it was too greasy for me. I saved half of my meal and gave it to my 18 year old daughter who was at home. She could not finish it, because she thought the same thing. I got the shredded hash, eggs, veggies, mozarella cheese (I picked off the cheese since I am lactose intolerant) and biscuit. The biscuit was delicious--my favorite.
Another great South KC breakfast spot! I'll be back over and over again.

This has to be THE BEST HIDDEN TREASURE in the Kansas City area! When you go out to eat, Yes, it's about the food, which as you can see clearly in my pictures that they Don't disappoint with their very high quality, Amazingly delicious food but it's always more than just the food! From when you walk in, always greeted with a very warm welcome, their atmosphere is so clean, appealing & comforting! With all the vibrant show case of plants, positive & motivational sayings you will notice hanging from their walls, all the way to the very pleasant music they play! From the owner, Louis, who you'll find making sure he is personally at tables making for sure that his customers are always happy, to his very wonderful staff that you'll find are passionate about serving you & your loved ones , guaranteeing your having the Best experience possible! I eat out ALOT! I am very familiar with all the high end restaurants in Kansas city but , The Breakfast Spot, is a very Special place! For the very affordable price you get here, you can't go wrong folks! If you haven't tried it, it's a MUST! Share with people because I wish I had known about this place before I found it! And SERIOUSLY check out their very well rounded menu, it's EVERYTHING! So if I could give 10 Stars π ββββββββββ I Would! The ONLY complaint that I could ever think of is I wish they were open 24/7 365 because that's how Great they are! My all time favorite brunch place! Wonderful open atmosphere with great tasting breakfast and Fantastic service. Fast and friendly....it is a real treat and a good value. It is not a Three-Star restaurant, so don't expect everything to be hand made or made from scratch as I saw in some other reviews. Definitely should be one of your top choices for breakfast.

Been here about ten times in the last year, the latest today. Food is always fresh, and we like the variety of the menu. Managers always stop by to say hello. Southwest flair on American classics. My favorite is the vegie omelet with zuccini and broccoli, but the biscuits and gravy are good as well. Their salsa has a smoky chipotle taste. Hubby tried the Mamba Burrito today. Yummy! We've never been disappointed. It's our favorite place to take guests because everyone can find something on the menu, and it's always tasty.
