They saved my life: The staff at the Roasterie are an absolute gems. It's taken me about a year to get to this review. I had been too embarrassed to say anything and have taken a year to process it but, I will never forget what the staff at the Leawood Roasterie did for me. Last year I came into the Roasterie for a morning pick me up after having a lot of personal troubles. I could barely keep a straight face on the verge of tears. The lady at the counter asked me if I was okay and I just busted into tears, like loud ugly crying. The barista behind the counter came up and asked me if he could give me a hug and I accepted. He told me he was so sorry this was happening to me (Even though he had no idea what was happening) and just let me cry it out. A COMPLETE stranger. They gave me my drink for free and extra water on the side. I was on the absolute edge and just their gestures of kindness brought me back to reality. After wiping my tears I sipped my chai latte quietly and it felt like I had ingested sunshine and comfort. There is not a day that goes by that I don't remember their kindness

Really enjoyed the granola Apple goodie yogurt parfait. It seemed expensive until I had the first bite. It was so good I would have paid $25 for it.
