The Bad: The service is very very slow! You will wait forever. Next time, I'm calling in my order before I arrive. There was only one very young waitress on hand, seemingly inexperienced, servicing 7 impatient hungry tables on this Thursday evening. Although here's where I forgive Loving Hut, when the food finally arrived, it was awesome. The spring and avocado rolls were totally scrumptious. My entree, don't remember what it was called, was a melody of crispy and tasty nutritious greens, rice, soy products and flavor, partially cooked and raw. And to top it off, the specialty dessert cakes, which I find hard to believe what they have written on the overhead whiteboard, which they say they are 'guilt free', were a extraordinary taste sensation. It's the most mouth watering cake I've eaten in years.
Okay, 5 stars only this time. Only because I've eaten in every vegan and vegetarian restaurant from NJ to NYC. Although the service in a city like NYC is usually very fast, the shortcomings are usually unsatisfying, very small portions of very questionable, as far as the freshness of the food, with ingredients that are not truly vegan, and the food is insanely expensive for the portions you get. For some reason, most likely economics, maybe vegans are not known as the best tippers, even in NYC, the waitstaff have similar shortcomings. The food portions at Loving Hut are medium sized and the prices (at least for a vegan restaurant) are very reasonable.
I was told the restaurant has been renovated in the last year, because according to the reviews, I didn't bother to even consider this restaurant, saying how dirty the place was. It's a cute, homey place and to my eyes, very clean. If I have to wait to get good food, well, in NJ, it seems you always have to wait for even mundane meals.

I found this place online and wanted to try it today with my honey. We are vegetarians, and often find it difficult to go out to eat without asking a thousand questions about everything! This was a great change of pace for us. We shared a veggie burger and a portobella mushroom burger, sweet potato fries and a side salad. The dressing was a bit tangy, but good, and the fries were shoestring and crunchy!!! Please understand my glee with that one because often when I order sweet potato fries, they are soggy and fairly tasteless. These were great! Oh my was everything delish!!! The place was empty when we got there (late afternoon), and everything was good. Yes, the waitress seemed a bit inexperienced and quite soft-spoken, but she also seemed eager to please. Food was good, service was good, and priced quite reasonably. The only drawback was the parking. But you can't blame the restaurant for that....
Absolutely delightful....! I'm pretty sure i just found my new favorite place. This had to be probably one of the best falafel sandwiches i've ever had. Made to perfection from freshness to presentation. Maybe it's time for a change.....hmmm.
Food was great! The service super slow. And the interior can you use a dusting here and there. Needs an experience server who knows everything that they make. But still give it a five. The food and owner was fantastic.
I eat here all the time! Love the food, love the family who own it, too. Awesome place!

I have no idea why I didn’t visit sooner. I have been up here for years. I had the cheesesteak and sweet potato fries; coconut cake. Fantastic food.
It truly is a Loving Hut-from the wonderful folks to the delicious food! Will always be back for more! Thanks for making my birthday celebration a Great one!! Carol xo

I have been a vegan for a long time and have gone to many many vegan restaurants and this is simply the best! The sea noble burger is incredible. Go Vegan save innocent animals lives!
We had a mother and daughter date today, and we chose Loving Hut for lunch. My daughter's favorite. As usual, the food was amazing. Best Bubble tea, best cheesecake! My quinoa salad was delicious.
Absolutely love the food at this restaurant! (I drive an hour from my house to go here for takeout and it’s so worth it) friendly staff as well. The mozzarella sticks are AMAZING! love the cheesecake, carrot cake, fried cauliflower, and the avocado rolls. they also have good vegan chocolate treats at the counter as well which are delicious. it’s an amazing alternative food options for those who are vegan or have a dairy allergy like I do! :)
Stopped here on the way to a family trip in Pennsylvania, the staff was nice, the food was really tasty. There arent a lot of vegetarian/ Vegan options on our route and I didnt expect a lot going in. This place was surprisingly good! If I travel through this area again, I'd definitely stop for a bite.

My girlfriend and I have been dying to go to this place. I was so happy we finally did!! we have been to over a dozen vegan restaurants in NJ alone. This place blew me away on flavor and atmosphere. Very nice inside with a nice cozy feel. The service was great and quick even though when i went they were short staffed. We ordered a tea which came in a cute little kettle and it was a fantastic tasting tea(non- caffeinated one). I ordered the cheese steak which was the most amazing cheese steak i have ever had to date! My gf got a tofu dish with a cheesy rice which was great! we got to appetizers, an order of mac and cheese and crispy strips. The mac and cheese had so much flavor which is hard to find in the vegan world. Overall they are fantastic!! highly recommended
I ate from the raw menu since I'm detoxing right now. I got the raw sushi which was Soo refreshing and the house salad also delicious. Their ginger dressing was Soo good I could put it on everything! The food was packaged nicely and I will definitely be back to try more things. Oohh! I forgot about the kale chips that came with my raw sushi...omg I need like a huge bag of them! Sooo yummy!
Ordered pickup from the Loving Hut for the first time today, even though I’ve been wanting to order food here for a couple years, finally got around to it. It exceeded my expectations! I ordered the Summer rolls and hot “Chicken” wings for appetizers and “Beef” Udon Noodles for the main course. So good! Great flavors! The wings were super crispy and the sauce was tasty. Only alteration was I added sriracha to the noodles because I like it very spicy! I’ll be ordering from there again for sure!
If I lived around here, I would order from here again. We really like the American Panini and Cauliflower Wings! American Panini tofurkey had the texture of Turkey, but tasted better than actual Turkey imo, and the "cheeze" tasted like the real deal. Gotta order those fries too, fried perfectly. Cauliflower wings' bread crumb outside had a wonderful flavor and good crunch, and I was a big fan of the mayo sauce pairing. The teriyaki tofu would've been better had the Teriyaki sauce had more flavor. We tasted the sweetness, but some garlic and ginger punch would've made all the difference.

Ok. I am not a vegan but wanted to try something different. Let me tell you, this is it. Seriously, I was not convinced when I got in... then I tried the avocado roll and everything changed. This is one of the best I have tried! Then, I ordered the Royal Kung Pao and it was excellent. Whoever is cooking these dishes is not only good but experienced. Also, the place is going to be renovated... which means better looks if that is what you are into. I am into flavor, so I am definitely coming back.
I love this place. Been going here for years. Good variety to the menu. The food is quick and fresh. Very good service. Nice cafe sort of vibe. One of the few good vegan options in the area. Just tried the Grilled Pineapple sandwich, it’s my new favorite. Highly recommend.

Delicious food and they were very sweet. I would go again and recommend to anyone curious about vegan food! I got the burrito and spring rolls but everything sounded really good :)
Really good VGF options. Usually order raw items that are killer. Raw cheesecake is the best!! Love the sweet and sour vegan chicken, BLAT and scrumptious VGF candy bars. Always very pleasant and good customer service. Needs to open much earlier then noon. No photos.
Amazing food and really nice people! The only complaint I have is the place needs to be cleaned.
I recently had to change everything about my diet so decided to try loving hut because they fit my new needs. Everything was so fresh and absolutely delicious. Definitely going to be ordering from here often
