The Paella and Shrimp and Scallop pasta were the best. Stuffed flounder was good too. The owner's run it like a nicer family restaurant; friendly and personalling checking our needs. Seems like a great place for it's quality and price point, because my experience with Paelle dishes are $70 or more w
My husband and I have been here twice now. It has become our new favorite restaurant and is worth the drive (we live in Fairfax). The owner is so friendly and very passionate about his food. The first time we went he suggested making the calamari a different way for us and my husband almost decid
Ok so first time here for Valentines dinner. Food was excellent! The Chef, who also personally takes your order and serves you was a very nice. He made suggestions and having a Spanish speaking Venezuelan wife, it was nice to have him speak Spanish to her as well. Loved the place, price and portions
Food was great, wonderful flavors. Service was remarkable, welcoming, kind- and just the right amount of attention (not too much and not too little, makes a big difference!). The atmosphere brings a since of nostalgia, the outside seating is also nice. The food presentation was not exciting but the
I went here with a group of friends and we all really enjoyed it. The atmosphere was nice and the staff was very friendly. I got some kind of lamb sausage with grilled peppers and onions. My date got grilled salmon with a house salad. Total was about $60 without tip. I would like to go back sometime
Service was awesome. My boyfriend and I have crazy spice allergies, and the owner went out of his way to create tasty food for each of us. The crab avacado salad was amazing!
What a treat! This was the most delicious, thoughtfully prepared meal my husband and I have shared in a long time. Chef Mohamed warmly welcomed us into his lovely restaurant and told us he would take care of us. Seated at an intimate corner window with a candle, we took his suggestions and then mar
My family and I brought my grandfather here for his 77th birthday. Let me tell you, from the first bite of my very first escargot to the last bite of a fish dish that i trusted the owner/ chef to hook me up with i was smitten and breathless with how good everything was. The chef himself came out to
We stopped for dessert, and got apple pie ala mode. They were generous with the ice cream and the apple pie had a Mediterranean flare. It was delicious. Also the servers were helpful and friendly. Would definitely get this again.
Really fabulous, totally from scratch cuisine, a welcoming smile and conversation from Lahlou and her chef husband, a chance to practice my French with them and a chef who was very willing to help me with my kidney dialysis food restrictions. And par-dessous le marche, the very best warm- from- the
Cozy qaint little restuarant. The food was amazing and the chef even waited on us and made impeccable suggestions of what to order. The lobster ravioli was to die for and worth every penny! My only complaint was it is confusing to find, the sign outside says Old Town Grill and not La Lou Bistro.
total find! the owner changes his menu weekly if not daily. great staff, makes you feel like family. they have an outside seating area where kids can play while you relax and enjoy the meal. agree it can be pricey depending on what you order but I highly recommend.
Incredible food! Better than we could have ever expected! The owner Moe was such a nice guy and made us feel so welcome. If you're looking for a great place to eat in Leesburg check out Lalou!
Outstanding place to eat, especially Sunday brunch. You order from the menu. Service is excellent. Mohamed and his wife make you feel so welcome. Best place to eat in Leesburg!
The dishes we ordered were exceptional. Started with Green Herb soup that was surprising. Then Lobster Ravioli with crab and shrimp. And Chicken Tangine. Both very flavorful but the Tangine was layered with so many flavors. Morroccan dishes can be over powering but this subtlety done.
The Chef, Mo, is so great. I loved his suggestions and when I asked him to pick the menu he said a restaurant should provide something delicious and different than what you'd normally have. He was right. Super!
Phenomenal food and attentive staff! Stuffed flounder was huge... Beef tenderloin could be cut with a fork. Very expensive but worth every penny.
