My mom and I are tourists to Leland, NC. We were looking for a great place to get some pizza, and we came across Family Pizza & Subs. At first I ordered our pizza online, but the Lord led me to call the restaurant. Long story short, I found my order didn't show up on the restaurant's computer, so I gave the man I spoke to my order. So, from my experience, it's better to phone in your order instead of ordering online. But as for the pizza, we ordered a meat lover's pizza. And my mom and I loved it, it tasted great!!!
The pizza is outstanding. One of the best in Leland. Prices aren't terrible but you're getting bang for your buck. Salads are usually pretty fresh. They have a cookie the size of my head! My only criticism is they close too early. Called in a to go order around 730 and was told I needed to show up in 10-15 min bc they were closing. It's their business they can close whenever they want but I feel they could miss out on more business by closing at 8. Still excellent pizza though!

Its like a taste of home for me. I'm from new jersey and we love pizza to no end, so I had been searching for a local place that would curve my craving and family pizza is it. I was skeptical at first but we tried the $20 family deal and got a pepperoni pizza and a buffalo chicken pizza. Both delicious and made me a customer for years to come. Keep up the good work, highly recommended!
The quality and freshness of ingredients they use is beyond compare. Pizzas, garlic knots, salads, subs etc. It might be slightly more expensive than the corporate pizza chains but the quality is just unmatched. I would rather pay a dollar more for their fresh ingredients and friendly staff! Have not yet had a bad item. The service is terrific, the restaurant (dining room, restrooms, kitchen) is always clean and well kept. The staff is absolutely the most friendly of any restaurant I have ever been to. Whether you are just grabbing a small quick bite in or taking out a large order for the family on one of their specials, the family that runs this establishment is always so appreciative of your business and happy to see you. We will continue to eat here! So good!!
This is a family location. It's a great place to go or to order from. You can't call the location to place your order, you simply pick up your phone and order through the Slice app. It really is that easy. Slice has a much larger delivery area than any small pizza shop does.
When you place your order here, go for the specialty Pizzas. They don't skimp on the toppings the way there big chains do so the specialty Pizzas are delicious. I went for the meat lovers, it was a darn good pizza. Not what you would expect from a local shop. They didn't skimp on the cheese or the meat.
THE BEST PIZZA AROUND. I am not kidding or stretching the truth! My in-laws and I LOVE coming here on our way to Topsail Island every year. The employees know us EVERY YEAR we come in!! It's amazing!!! The food is outstanding and it makes my mouth water just thinking about it. The food is extremely cheap and it is such a fantastic bang for your buck!!
Best authentic pizza and subs in Leland. This place is delicious! Homemade cannolis, yum! A relief from the fast food major pizza chains around here.
I love this place. The pizza is the best hands down. My personal favorite is the Greek salad. Everyone is always friendly and this is the only place I’ll order pizza from. Delicious and great prices.

The philly cheese steak pizza is absolutely amazingggggg...being from nj and eating pizza all down the coast I think this is my favorite one!! Also love the staff theyre always really nice and helpful.
