Great spot for breakfast or lunch. The food is great, service outstanding and a great, local, atmosphere. Unpretentious, comfortable, and down to earth. Our favorite place for breakfast in the Lenoir / Happy Valley area. :)

Cashier ran three different cards on cash register to pay for $24 of merchandise never complained and she was so nice ...they had everything stocked and clean floors and parking lot. Great experience..Gggg

My family and I have known the owner for years. Very nice guy. The food is good and the people are very nice. It's kind of a meeting place for the surrounding community.

Don’t let the exterior deter you from visiting. The food (hamburgers, fried chicken, home style fries) is great. Great place for breakfast too.

Cheeks has been at this location for 60 years or more. Great service, good grill. Convenience store with gas. Pretty much a landmark.
