I worked at the Luau Hale close to 40 years ago. The food was as great as I remember. I visited the Berkshires from August 1st to the 3rd. Had much fun.
A great place to go for a meal or drinks. Don't forget to order the Scorpion bowl. Vegetarians will find options, not much for vegans. Very friendly staff.
My wife had tofu and veggies which she enjoyed, I had Hawaiian Cow (grilled beef, beam sprouts, pea pods, mushrooms), very good, vety strong scorpion bowl.
Way better then their closest competition. Amounts vs prices are definitely a better deal. They have all the traditional foods you're looking for from a Chinese restaurant and it's good. Staff is very kind and helpful. My only complaint is that no Chinese restaurant in the mideast makes plain cream

Was told by everyone delivering would be 2+ hours for any food, however the woman at this establishment took my order and helped have it arrive within 30min knowing my daughters had been waiting over 2 hours for pizza which we had to cancel. Ordered ahead and took take out home. It was delicious. I especially.liked the mix appetizer option. (got "for one" but was enough to share). Pickup was easy and food was hot and ready.
Nice atmosphere, lots of room so you're not sitting on top of the next table. They don't rush you and the food is GOOD. Lots of options. Just had cashew chicken and it's large enough to share, but now it's lunch for me.
My family has been going to this restaurant for must be 50 years! We would travel 45 minutes from Kinderhook, NY, the most beautiful drive ever especially in the fall. Now that we’re grown & scattered, we still manage to make the sojourn to Lenox, MA. from Florida, Virginia & NY. It’s a great family
A Berkshire Tradition. So many great menu offerings. Love the Scallion Pancakes, Soups, and other traditional Cantonese dishes. Not a fan of the over sweet Polynesian fare. Ample free parking around the long time Eatery. Fast friendly service.
Great food, great staff,and on a side note; the few people I saw working were pretty..comly if you will.
I highly recommend going there for some covid take-out (remember to call first).
