Orchid definitely has the freshest and best tasting Pad Thai and sushi in the L/A area! Amazing atmosphere, if you're looking for a place to wind down after a hard day at work with some good food, and bar filled with variety of many different beers and IPA come here! A place that prides themselves on excellent service. And the staff there is amazing. If you're new to the area make this place a priority!!!

The food is amazing and very fresh tasting!! The restaurant itself is also very nice. It felt like I was in downtown Portland. Lisbon Street has really stepped it up with their renovations and new businesses. More parking would be nice, but that's to be expected with the city atmosphere.

I keep coming back to Minh's Orchid restaurant for the freshness and diversity of the food offerings and the fantastic array of carefully selected microbrews, served by knowledgeable and super friendly staff. The sushi chef Ming is a master. Highly recommend the Ugly roll and all the dragons as well as the nigiri. The avocado salad with or without sashimi is outstanding. The tuna tataki is spectacular. Appetizers are tasty and nicely priced. Overall great!!!

My husband and I went for a quiet and enjoyable dinner. I am not into anything spicy. I asked the waitress if my meal was Spicy and she said no it wasn't. She also.put down just one star for spice. When we took our first bite my hubby loved his and mine to me was Spicy. I was going to eat it anyways. The waitresses heard our conversation and saw my reaction to the meal and quickly took it from me and had a new dinner made with no star spice. She was very observant. Because of her I really enjoyed my meal.
