Fran's has a great menu for either breakfast or brunch. I had the steak and cheese sub and it was the best.

They have gluten free options and make the best Eggs Benedict ever! The service is fantastic and the owner is one of the nicest people you will ever meet!
I LOVE Frans!! Went in couple weeks ago by myself to eat and the new owner sarcasm and talked with me made me feel super welcome! The food was awesome and the service was on point! Love their crepes and eggs Benedict!

Frans Place Great Breakfast Meals. I have been a client of Fran's Place for several years.I can't say enough to get you to try Frans for Breakfast. They must be the Best darn place to eat for Morning meals, But then again I wouldn't know, because Fran's is SO yummy I never go anywhere else!

Fast & Simple. Fran's doesn't look like much on the outside, but it's a decent-sized restaurant inside. We were quickly seated and coffee brought to us. The breakfast was typical breakfast food for the area, and they brag the best crepes in Lewiston-Auburn.
My fiance got Fran's Breakfast (the picture on the menu) and I tried the crepes with blueberry and whip cream. The food was served hot and fresh. The fiance's breakfast was sausage, potatoes (he paid the extra .50 for onions), bacon, eggs and toast. It was more than enough. My crepes were delicious. Best crepes in the area? Well, there was nothing to really set them apart from any other crepe. The crepes themselves were bland, but the real blueberries on top spruced them up. They were just that...crepes. Your other topping choices are whip cream, blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, or maple syrup.
Our coffee was sluggishly refilled, and our check returned to us in a similar manner, considering people there after us were served nearly as quickly as we were--and we had been there 10 mins before. This is obviously a restaurant of regulars, and it showed in the service. I'm not complaining, but there were times where we were waiting (coffee refills, for the bill, to have the bill taken) and others who were waiting less or were there for less time were taken ahead of us. It's a natural phenom in these local areas, I'm sure, but it's the only con to the restaurant we experienced. Other customers were warmly greeted when entering the restaurant, whereas we were told to find a seat with barely a glance. Kind of a shame, considering we are going to be locals in a month's time.
With that said, give Fran's a try. We will again. Any breakfast would be delicious, I'm sure. Definitely try crepes if you like crepes, they are worth it!
Really good breakfast place.
I got a hash omelette and raisin toast. It was good, exactly what I wanted, nothing fancy.
My partner got eggs Benedict, they were really good, eggs were cook perfect.
Coffee was adequate and the prices were great.
If you're looking for a no frills place to grab a good reasonably priced breakfast this is one of my favorites.
One here for breakfast waitress was very good very fast always on top of everything and they actually talk to you food was awesome I had the omelet and you got a love these little places because you know the foods gonna be good
Great diner style food had the had the Salisbury Steak dinner for lunch. Fran's has become a weekly event. Very reasonable prices and the and staff is aways spot on and very accommodating. Never had a bad experience at Fran's
Wow was this place great. Went for breakfast while here on vacation. We were blown away. The food is just really good and they have an extensive menu of choices. Wife got raspberry crepes which came with a homemade raspberry compote that looked so good. She loved them. I got the Irish Benedicts. The hollandaise was great, the hash was good. I loved my meal.
We like the little touches here. All of the dishware is sort of random like they shopped at thrift stores for it. There are cute signs with sayings all over. It just felt fun and the food was delicious.
Well that was a pretty great breakfast. They had some nice covered outdoor seating (which is great during these COVID times) that was perfect for a crisp morning.
I tried the Mama's Garden Crepes -- I would say that it was just okay... A bit overloaded with scrambled egg, which seems kind of odd to me, but the veggies and cheese on it were really good.
I also ordered the sausage gravy and biscuit - this was very good, but make sure you're in the mood for something salty. It came with home fries and two eggs, which were perfectly cooked. It's shocking how many breakfast places fail to cook a proper over-medium egg.
Service staff were friendly as well.
Restroom was very clean.

My families favorite place to get breakfast. It's always pretty busy with a bit of a wait but it's so worth it. The food is amazing and the service is outstanding.
